Seed Through Vegitative Stage: Shortest Time Period

What is the shortest period that one has forced a crop under MH through the vegetative stage from seed?

I want short stature and will likely do a simple FIM type of deal. Or will topping protract my vegetative stage, i.e. getting it to the point where it can and will flower?

Thoughts? What amendments could I make to the soil or perhaps other nutritional/hormonal treatments would accelerate the process?

I grew mine for 2 and a half weeks, topped them for four colas, allowed one more week of veg, then into flower they go.

dyzel, any immaturity problems, hermaphroditism, or were they hunky dory? Did you do anything outside of your routine with light cycles or nutes?

My goal is under four weeks which you seem to have met. Did you notice your yield per plant (and do you remember the strain)?
