seedling question

I have another post where i was telling that my new seedlings have these brown spots on them. The leaves that have these are not the round ones which i think are called the cotyledon but the ones that sprout right after those. All the new growth that has formed does not show any signs of those spots in the leaves and the whole plant is looking healthy. My question is will the plants go through to much stress if i cut these sets of leaves off at only 1 1/2 weeks old. I want to get rid of them just incase it is a disease then it wont spread to the rest of the plant. If i do this i assume it will stop growth a few days so the plants can heal. thanks for your guys and girls help

I wouldn't cut them. The leaves won't effect the growth of the plant. just don't expect them to recover. the chances of it hurting the rest of the plant are smaller than the chances of you hurting it, or stressing it out by cutting....besides doesn't stress cause males? you don't want any part of that...:-)
