Seedling stopped growing!! Help!

Hey havin someproblems with my seedlings. After they germinated I put them in the tray but ddnt have the dome on. Wasn't sure if they still needed high humidity. Hav the fluoros about three inches away One of them sprouted and was doing very well fo the first few days then stopped growing and is looking a little brown and looks like it may be dying now. I hav a feeling they may be being underwatered. I try to let the dry out a little before watering again but maybe I shudnt be doing that yet? How much shud I actually water? Or shud I just be leaving water in the bottom and lettin them suck it up? Ddnt want to overwater. Any help wud b greatly appreciated

When I grew mine I used a water bottle and a sprayer and sprayed the soil about 10 times 3-4 times a day and they grew fine if they haven't broken the soil keep the dome on. How long was the taperoot before you planted them and how deep did you plant em ? Also what Kelvin rating is your floro ?

Yea when we started (me n wifey) we put some water in the bottom and the soaked it right up n it seemed like too mu ch water so once it dried we just sprayed them maybe about 4-5 times a day but they wud dry out really quick and basically stopped growing. So yesterday we put some water in the bottom and wet the cubes pretty good and today they're growing again and lookin healthier. The fluoros are 20 wt not 100% sure of the K tho. That's was gonna b my next question wen shud I take the dome off. We put clear plastic cups over each individual seed so as the break we can take them off accordingly. The tap root on the shining silver haze was about an in when we planted it and we probly put it close to an inch down. It grew good for the first few days then stopped and looked kinds brwn it looks much more green now I'll put up some pics asap.

That's good once they break the soil just remove dome :) the florescent tubes should be 6500K (Daylight) that's what you need for veg state. When you put it under the soil put it 1/3 of an inch under the soil and they should pop out pretty quick. Wooop !!!

If they are still in cubes I would transplant them into your medium of choice. It can be hard keeping them properly watered in little pots cuz they can dry out fast. I had some seedlings die from thirst not too long ago because I didn't transplant.

when thier sprouting its almost impossible to over water. notice i said ALMOST. you dont want them to be in a mud like mix, but you want to keep the growing medium moist. and if growing from unfeminized seed. you can increase the chance of getting a female by keeping a high growing medium moisture and a high humidity. this only affects the plant once you see the first set of leaves with 3 leaves.
