Seedling window.

Hey guys, I'm starting to plan out my second grow. I'm going to do an outdoors grow this time. I have seeds germinating right now.

My question is, once the germinated seeds are ready to put in soil. Can I just put it infront of a window? I currently have plants under my light in flower stage therefore I don't want my seedling under 12/12 lights. But if my calculation are right. By the time my seedling switch to vegetative stage, my plants will be done and I'll be able to switch the hps with metal halide and 18/6 lights for my new plants until they hit the right size to throw outside.

You're better off putting your seedlings under 1 or 2 23watt cool cfls on 24/7 lighting so light leaks won't matter. Then when they get some size, throw their asses in the 12/12 light a long with your finishing plants. The window isn't going to give you the type of vegetative growth you'll want.
