seedlings outside

i put 2 week old seedlings outside and lost about 80% of them in 3 days. I normally water once per week but have only done indoor. At what point can seedlings go outside to veg a bit?

After you harden them off they can go outside full time.

i too learned this the hard way a half dozen years ago, if you go from indoors to out you have to set them in the shade for about a week then start the move to full sun.
