seedlings stretching to much?

i planted my seeds one week ago on saturday...i think in jiffy peat pellets with a heat mat and a fluorescent light i planted the mj along with peppers and the peppers look great but the majority of the mj seedlings have really stretched out long ive been keeping the light close and not on to long. ill post some pics and specs on the light later. note im not planning on using the florescent light forever im planning on translating the plants outside as soon as it warms up (its gonna snow again this week might be awhile). what could i do to stop this cause i dont think its normal mabey it is. thanks

Plants "stretch" to get closer to your light sources.

If they are seedlings you can keep the light on them 24/0

Keep them from burning up and keep the light close anf keep them on 24 hours a day

With cfls keep then only about 2in from tops of plants. Just bury that stretching stem down and they'll be fine
