Seeds and seedless-same room-same time? Yes? Help me set it up

The room: I got a 9x10 foot standard bedroom in the corner of the house facing the street, which is fifty yards away. Nearest neighbor over 100 yards away. Drywall and old wall to wall carpet, a window facing the street and a closet with access to the unfinished attic filled with manufactured trusses and blown in cellulose insulation. Unfinished 4 foot tall crawlspace underneath with a sump pit and pump directly under the room. Builder grade hollow wood door. Two interior walls shared with other bedrooms. One interior wall and one closet wall back up against the hall closet. Forced air heat/central air with dedicated air return. One 15A, 120V service via 2 outlets in the room and the same service shared with another bedroom. 1/2 of one outlet the room is switched by the door. No ceiling fixtures. A few holes in the walls/floor/ceiling here and there won't bother me.

Occasional strangers, unfriendlies or minors in other parts of the home ARE possible.

The equipment: I got two 1KW HPS lamps and matching hoods with 4" get-ons. One hood missing the glass... 1/2 a brain and the will to live! That's it, but it's a start.

I have no network of medicated acquaintances from which to source anything.

I will only grow for me. I want to grow only once every two years. This is why I want seeds. Maybe I'm wrong - it happens a lot - but does it seem that seeds are getting more difficult to order for shipment to the US? And maybe at some point it'll just get locked down altogether? This is why I want seeds.

I wanna find a strain that works for me and stick with it. I want to grow the absolute finest example of that strain that can be had. I wanna set up a grow and tear it down and pack it up in between grows.

I'm leaning towards the stinkbud aeroponics setup. I want to grow for seed and for medication - at the same time, in the same room. That's the multi-task part I'm not getting my head around.

Growing? I r a noob. I admit it. I know little of this whole process, maybe I'm missing something easy and I'm hoping someone would be kind enough to clue me.

I'm no dummy. Help me set up the room and help me understand the processes required to operate it efficiently.

And as an aside - I originally posted at RIO wanting advice on a strain to concentrate my efforts on. As much as I would like to, I can't try the thousands out there. I just won't live long enough. I can't seem to find my way out of the strain maze, as some wise man so accurately called it. In that first post I wrote:

"I want to stay busy and feel good and be easy going and not feel confused or introverted or paranoid or anxious. I want to feel like doing things but I don't want to forget why I walked into a room... I want to sleep well and have some relief from sciatica and my old knees."

If you should kindly offer a suggestion, and I hope you do, two strains max please, one for daytime and another for at night, or maybe only one if growing/harvesting changes within one strain can produce what I need. Any strain advice is greatly appreciated, even if it's to tell me to fuck off. If you suggest something, please offer a reliable source.

The grow to me is serious business. You lead and I'll follow. I assure you I can keep up.

You can pollinate a branch or two of one of your plants to produce seeds, HOWEVER, I would not recommend you do it in the same room as your ladies. You are going to want to raise the male in a separate area to produce the needed pollen to produce feminized seeds. Nirvana has a great PDF grow guide that will walk you through the steps of pollinating a branch or two to produce fem seeds. It takes some work and know how, and above all else, surgeon like precision if you are doing it in a room full of ladies, but it can be done using a paper bag, some pollen and steady hands and patience.

Good luck with your grow.

P.S. It sounds like you want a sativa or sativa dominant blend. I'm a new grower myself, so that is all I can give ya. Oh, protect your floor! make sure you get a big enough tapr that can be stapled to the walls and covers your entire carpet. As for strangers or minors in the house, I strongly suggest you reconsider if you are using an entire room to grow. With your lighting, you are also going to be adding between $250-$350 to your power bill per month, depending on kw costs.
