Seeds from autoflower plants - can they be used?

Okay, Sorry if I've put this in the wrong section.
-
On my last grow, one of my feminized girls became a hermie and I ended up with a bunch of seeds.
All plants in the grow room where the same strain (Feminized Royal crematic autoflower seeds)
I'm now considering using some of those seeds and I need to know a few things.

should I treat them as if they're autoflower plants or should I treat them as if they're normal seeds?
Should I transplant them?
I was told by the breeder that feminized autoflower seeds didn't like to get transplanted and it may stunt the plant.
- Is that the case with the seeds dropped from my last harvest?

Thanks for any help in advance

ok it depends on the mother
if the mother is auto ........then yes the seeds are all auto but they will lean to hermie when stressed
if the mother was photo ..then no only 50% of the seeds will react like a auto with a stressed hermie but the others will act as photo

all the seeds are regular they are 50/50 at best male female unless u treat them

as for auto plants yes transplanting is not ideal ......so depending on the mother of the seed i would treat it that way ......if the plant does not trigger into flowering on a 20/4 timing then u know that plants genetics lean to photo

This is good news for me also. Neighbor next door had a male of one of my poly-hybrids that got to them. So Black Crème x sativa dom poly. Hope to get some girls out of the 25 or so seeds I got.

ive read in numerace places that seeds from a hermi plant will always herm
This is not 100% correct. They will always be female. To keep it simple there are two types of hermaphrodite. The ones you don't want, pure genetics, they herm weather or not stressed, these are garbage. Those that are stressed and pop a few stamen to carry on their genetic line. These are female seeds. They only hermie when stressed

No hijack of thread intended ;)

But have a similar issue. ( i have one chocoskunk ) that is going to harvest in a week ( no more white pistils , some amber triches but noticed a few seeds forming. I know that the seeds need to mature to a certain age before being usable , but want to know if i should harvest and seeds will mature off plant ? Or should i let plant go longer , but i dont want to lose bud because of waiting too long to harvest.

I dont really grow to make seeds , just pop / grow / smoke. So im a little new to the making seeds side of growing. Im used to clones / cuttings. She does not have nanners or know HOW she could have produced these. No other plants are affected.

I too was wondering the proper time to harvest a seed plant also, and how long to keep the seed before planting.

About the OP: I have no experience with autos but I do with hermies. I have used hermie seed multiple times out of curiosity and desperation, and they all came out fems. If this is luck or science, I have no clue.

As to the auto trait, from my research, you should have all auto seeds. Autoflower is a minor trait but if both parents are auto the seeds will have the trait.

I have no issue about using any viable seeds from her ( feminized auto ) - she is showing NO male traits ( nanners , balls ) just about 6 seeds popping out of calyx. Some are getting that telltale spotting and dark colors you want , but wondering if i should risk letting harvest time go longer so seeds are maybe better to use.
