Im pretty sure that is supposed to be under the soil. Put it about a quarter to half inch under the soil. Water Wait 3 to 5 days. Water as needed un those days.

I'd say so. I wouldn't advise that process. Use the search bar. Not all people care for soaking seeds so that's up to you. I use paper towels. However, I've never heard of and wouldn't advise a resoak. You can drown seeds and plants.

Now manually removing the shell that a whole nother level. I can't even think of a reason that would even be considered an option.

I'd prepare to start over.

what jumped out at me was that you spelled cotyledon and embryo correctly but towel, they, wouldn't, didn't, and manually weren't even close. i can tell growing is important to you and not necessarily spelling. ;):-P

try again, next time i would suggest getting some root riot cubes and start there. you don't need to manually move the seeds once they've germinated and you can clearly tell that you do indeed have viable seedlings. good luck.

Someone else has a post up on germinating seeds. I posted a video on. It's not me and the video isn't shot by a pro. But if you find it would help you. Use that search bar. ITS YOUR FRIEND!

Spell it correctly. Even if you need to use google. Or your results might miss.

I watched it expecting to learn nothing. Hell I can't even tell you why I watched it. But my eyes opened REALLY wide when I saw the scotch tape. Then I got annoyed at myself for not having thought of it on my own.

I've never had a problem germinating. But I have had roots that wrap around the shell I had to help break soil because it was confused where south was on a plate!
