Yo, has anyone heard of this before ?

I recently decided to germ some Arjan's Haze w my super successful warm water method. Two of the beans cracked open, but instead of the beautiful baby root popping out there was in it;s place the two little baby leafs.

little white (not green, cuz no light) leafs but no root to be seen:o or is this the root ?

but anyway i even tried growin one , i had to flip him upside down in his medium but his leafs turned green and didnt do shit for 10 days

I pulled him out and his root was a little small hard hook. thats all

what happened ?? was it old seeds , the company, what ?

thats hilarious. Maybe the plant got really excited and jumped right into sprouting and forgot to grow roots. no joke. How long have u been using this germinating method for?

Forever since i seen this green guy on you tube do it.I have had 2 good harvest w this method

But basically im droppin seeds in a plastic new clean cup with a half inch of water, then setting it on a seedling heat mat.

I added the heat pad last year becuz of the cold nights here.

Update i just checked another germie of mine and she's doing the same thing --comin out leaf first.

ill try n get pic

its just the way it poped out, u cant blame age, germination technique or the company for that

I also use a heating pad, because its usually safer than to leave it in the cool water. But maybe its a bad batch of seeds. Try using these seeds on the paper towel method and see if it does the same thing. If not, finish these seeds in paper towel then when u get some new ones try ur old method again. If it still does that then it could be something in ur water, but idk.
