Sterilized Seeds
As far as I know sterilized seeds mean they are aren't viable. Meaning they are basically dead which makes them legal.

edit:Come on now guys.... " FOOD FOR BIRDS" says it on the page about half way down.

Talk to him!!!! Unless eBay pulls it down which they cannot. The thing is though is by using your call sign you basically are not encrypted as a buyer. The only way to find out is talk to the seller. Everytime I buy anything on there I always talk to the seller. You can screwed for just about anything on there.

He says they are for bird food so he can sell them legitimately. If he said, " HEY GUYS THIS IS SO YOU CAN GROW BIG BUDS! " well ebay would take it down in a heartbeat. Honestly - you just have to talk to him and if you trust him - ask him the germination rate. People sell all sorts of stuff on there - freaking hawaiian baby woodrose and mushrooms - they state stuff like - for flowers, for scientific analysis, etc so it looks legitimate.

Hmm I bought shroom spores on ebay, but they are legal in some states while mj seeds are illegal so they probably are bunk and that is why he could sell them. The fact that he says they are sterilized is so he could actually sell them on ebay, but whether that is true is up to the seller. I wouldn't take the chance when a mfg pack of 10 would cost 25 bucks at seedboutique.

Maybe he is hoping the bidding will get out of control and he'll get more than 25 for them. Basically turning a 25 dollar investment into a good 45 or something. Then again who's to say he/she just doesn't take 10 badseeds and put them in an envelope?

I remember a few years ago when Brittney Spears was still big and not a big joke, everyone was selling her 'pants' and 'underwear' on ebay, who could say they were actually hers and not someone else's pants. Odds were none of them were actually hers, just like these probably arn't real seeds. But who knows.

Too risky.

First of all they are 'sterilized,' which they may or may not actually be.

Secondly, EBAY willingly cooperates with law enforcement, no?

Seems unlikely. Why would a local or state cop post this auction when they don't know what state, or even country the person who wins will be. If it's a cop in Mass, and you bought it in Washington, that cop in Mass just waisted his time. The only person that would have jurisdiction is the DEA, or the feds. Seems like alot of work and cost (plane ticket to where they live) to bust someone for 10 seeds, a misdemeaner in most states. Then what if it's out of the country, is interpol running it? Just doesn't seem likely that LEO is behind this one.
