I haven't seen them but we use 3d printers at work. All you do is design something on the computer using cad and it will print out that design. Takes a long time though. Not as cool as printing off a finger but cool none the less.

same thing happened to me, couldn't figure out why someone would send me a worthless CD of music I wouldn't listen to. then I tore it apart and found my beans. what a trip!!!!
