2nd Grow - first grow (White Widow) had a lot of setbacks and I decided to chop it a week early to get a start on the Amnesia strain. Ended with a solid 60g of wet weight from a plant that went into flower just 21 days from germination.

Set up:

300W LED from Vipar Spectra

2 x 2 x 4 grow tent

Seeds: Amnesia auto feminised from Seedsman

20cm pots with a mix of perlite and seed raising mix soil.

4” scrubber with 76cfm exhaust - purely to contain smell, heat no issue in the tent

All 3 have opened up and a showing their first true leaves

Just keeping an eye on watering levels, I won't be transplanting these girls, they are in their final pot already to minimise shock so a little extra care will be needed to keep the soil at a decent level of hydration.

Haven't had much time to look after these girls and I think I let the temps in the tent get a little high the first week. All 3 look a little rough but all 3 have grown since dropping the temps a little (little heat wave here, temps in the high 90's) over the last few days.

With the light raised and temps down in the 70's for the last week the plants are recovering well. All 3 have at least started their 3rd and 4th pair of true leaves with a nice green colour and stopped the rot on the existing leaves.

Now much more hopeful of getting these plants established and now have a lot more respect for height of the LED's and temps.

Quick example of how well these seedlings have recovered since the weekend - this is 96 hours progress, very happy with how they have bounced back.

Changes made 7 days ago include raising the LED as much as possible, getting more air flow through the tent and getting temps into the 70's from the 90's. Also stopped watering for nearly 5 days to dry the soil out and give the roots a chance to move around.

Smallest seedling is probably 2 days behind the others and only just has the next layer of leaves showingIMG_1727-COLLAGE.jpg IMG_1728-COLLAGE (1).jpg IMG_1726-COLLAGE (1).jpg .

This is proving to be a difficult time of year to control the environment, I'm able to drop temperatures but humidity is very low (it's extremely dry here in summer months) with humidity in the tent around 35%.

Anyway, the plants are growing, albeit slowly.

Roughy 3 weeks since the seeds popped out of the ground now.

All 3 stalled out, 5 weeks and still couldn’t make it to veg stage.

New grow (Link in sig soon) is a white widow in hydro (dwc)
