Seeing Through Canada’s Anti-Marijuana Campaign

Funny, it's an obvious politically driven attack using old school scare tactics. The good thing with this is most feedback I've seen/read clearly sees it for what it really is and if anything will help our cause imo.

Cons are batting 1000 right now, at the rate they're screwing up they should be in great shape going into the election next year ;) We should help/encourage them to keep up the f'ups going, a lib majority is probably the only chance we have of getting a workable program.

It's going to be a minority for sure imo. Only real question is lib or con? I see a lib minority being better for us mmj patients then a majority. Sucks for recreational users. But the Ndp will support the kind of mmj reform we want and need if the libs need their support.

Yeah I typically prefer minorities as they keep everyone in check. Just not sure about this case in that it's a potential hanging rope politically so I feel it would be watered down too much. If the NDP supported them it could help but pretty sure the grow option would be extremely limited if it survived at all. I'm all for legalization of some form, but the option to grow my own is not an discussion point. Anything short of being able to grow and I'll remain under the radar.

Well Ndp have come out aginst full legalization but I know they support mmj so I don't think they'd throw away votes by not allowing us to grow our own. We are exactly who they want voting for them. Going aginst us will only hurt this generation of Ndp voters. Conservative amd Ndp will both loose plenty of seat in the next election. The only question is how many seats each will give to the libs.

Yeah, it'll be an interesting election this one. I don't think the NDP have much of a chance at maintaining what they have but you never know, the protest vote against the cons could save them. Clayton was the only leader I ever liked and even voted for him in his last run, first time I had ever voted NDP, just because he was straight-up and although i didn't agree with all of their platform views, he listened to the people and had the balls to stand up for what he believed in, very rare in politics. Trudeau is still to be tested but at this point the only one I'd trust to put the will of the people ahead of his career (not like he needs the money).

The only thing I'm pretty sure of if the current tide continues is that the cons don't have a hope of even a minority if I'm reading people's current thoughts/comments right. I have friends and business associates in all walks of life and they're all fed up with Harper and his ways. Short of giving up the leadership and being replaced by some outstanding candidate (who doesn't exist in his party imo) I'm pretty sure we'll at least get rid of him, that would be a win for all Canadians.

We need the Liberals to take those NDP seats in Quebec.
The libs will pick most of them up. Remeber last election the choices were Harper, Layton and dion. No wonder the libs did so badly. Oh and they were hugely incompetent and rocked by scandal after scandal. New blood means the sins of the past will be forgiven. No Layton means all those people who voted Ndp specifically because of him(all first time Ndp voters really) will be looking for a charismatic leftist to vote for.

If the Libs pick up most of the Quebec seats then they get a majority win.
I am not so sure they will though.
