Seeking light advice - Need Heat!

Hi there, I'm looking for some advice on choosing a light for my 2x4x5 foot grow tent. So far I've been using an LED grow light, but the biggest problem I've been having is temperature. For practical reasons my grow tent is kept in my garage, which is unheated and detached from the rest of the house. In the winter I've had to use a ceramic heater to maintain temperature in the tent, but now that it's spring I still can't keep the tent above 65F (on a good day) without the heater on, especially if I'm also running the exhaust fan. I figured at this point I'd be better off just changing to a light source that puts off enough heat that I can run my fans without worry.

Basically what I'm asking is: what kind of light and wattage should I get to keep my 2x4x5ft tent nice and toasty without overdoing it and harming my plants?

Its all gonna be relative to the temps in your garage and it warming up outside etc. But hps light will put off the heat that the LED doesnt. Or maybe even more LEDS...dont know how youd be getting light coverage in a 2 foot wide 4 foot long tent on one LED unless its a longer style board.

Toss a 600w HPS in there and you'll be in better shape, probably grow more flower too. Depending on exhaust fan speed you can probably raise tent temps over 10 degrees with a lower fan setting.

You can still run with your LED's at lower temps, but growth will be slower. However, you can run lower humidity at lower temps.

when you have time, read about VPD here
