Selecting seedlings for transplant - which do you like the look of?

Hi guys,

I've got 8 deer little seedlings and 10 clones chugging along. The 6 clones in rockwool aren't looking flash (some better than others) and haven't shown root after 2 weeks, the 4 clones in rockwool are doing alright and I can see roots sticking out the bottom of a couple of the pots.

Here's the dilemma:

I'm keen to get my RDWC rig up and going and was initially going to use fem clones from an outdoor grow (but like I said, they aren't going as well as I'd hoped). As insurance I sowed some more seeds and they're looking the business, but I dunno sex yet. I'll need to transplant these seedlings as they're getting big and roots are creeping out, so thought it might be best to take a punt on 4 and see how we go (I'll likely pot the rest up into coco/perlite mix and grow on the side). I thought I'd throw this open to the good people at RIU for any votes on which they'd go for (I'm hoping to transplant in 2-3 days). Cheers for your thoughts!

Also check out this little mutant. The second leaves didn't shoot out and looked like it was gonna cark it, but a few days on and it's still doing its thing - kinda thought I could top it now and see what the side shoots do (I got a soft spot for oddballs and am curious, but not for it to go in DWC obviously).

Let them get bigger than you may think, seeing roots coming out of the bottom is not a automatic sign that you need to transplant. Better to let them sit longer and develop a stronger root mass than pull them out early and risk damaging fragile roots. Go by how long in between waterings...longer the time=less roots...more water needed=more roots.

Oh yeah, I know I can let them go for longer in these pots - just getting a little impatient and eager to get the DWC going. They're looking better day by day, so will let them go until the 6th node or there abouts. I'd rather them have a solid rootmass/ball prior to transplant to make the whole job easier and less stressful too. In either coco or DWC, root growth is pretty quick. The main issue is sexing them. Given it's going to be a bit of a gamble either way, the 4 shorter plants are the winners thus far - liking the look for one which has more Indica leaves. Doubtful I'll use any of the clones - more curious to test out these seeds and start sorting through the numerous bags I have. If I had access to seedbanks/known strains life would be easier, but given what potential I could already have, it's just a matter of time. Cheers for the input
