sensi seeds

hey guys new to the forums ,sup yall :-)

Been looking through the seed bank reviews seems like there are a ton of diffrent options. Most ppl seem to stick to a certain few ( and avoid a certain few lol) but it took me a lot of backtracking to find a sensi seed review.
A good friend of mine told me a while back you can have the best grow room going with the environment dailed, but if you start with bad genetics, that can all be for nothing.
Sensi seeds have been going strong for years and have very, very impressive gardens in Amsterdam, and have some of the purest forms of certain strains on earth. Period.
Friends tell me I'm getting ripped off paying up to 15 pound a seed from them, and that I can get the same strain for a hell of a lot cheaper.
But for me the proof is in the pudding, I'm getting 4-5 oz a plant with 4 weeks veg, whereas a buddy of mine , using a cheaper northern lights cross, is struggling to get 2 oz a plant.
I've got my germination technique dailed with their seeds, and they always produce strong, robust seedlings, and quickly establish thick healthy branches.
So, for me, hats off to Sensi Seeds, they impress me, I dont mind paying that extra, to get some top quality buds
Just my opinion guys, peace

Here's the deal with Sensi from my perspective, including my direct experience with their genetics. Their genetics are part of almost any strain you'll see on the market today, in one way or another, at some point. However, much like the Mr. Nice Seedbank, you do have to run a full pack, and you will probably get plants across the quality spectrum. I have run their MLI and Durban from seed and I got good plants and bad plants from each. The bad were bad, and the good were as good as the good from any other newer seedbank I've run. You might get a better selection of solid plants, or at least a better selection of plants with good 'bag appeal' from other breeders, though, but that does not diminish the fact that you can still find some amazing keepers in sensi's genetics.

thanks for the reply Clankie.
i dont disagree with the fact that other seed banks will have good strains , and yes, you probably get the odd 'dud' from sensi, but i dont understand why no one on this forum seems to bother with sensi, is it just because of the price? i dunno.

im only new to this hobby and havent run any other companys seeds, so u think i should try some diffrent banks? am i getting ripped off?

peace

Vestax, you say youve got Sensi seeds germination dialed in? PLEASE ADVISE!!!! I currently have been trying to germ Sensi Seed Hindu Kush and still no luck. I am on my second seed as the first one, after 72 hours cracked and a tiny tap root showed but it never grew after that? I am on 24 hours with the second seed. I have it in a moist paper towel in my humity dome for seedlings which is on a heating mat......ITS KILLING ME!!! Any help would be awesome!!!

Given all the choices out there right now I would probably stay away from Sensi. Their prices are through the roof and you will probably need to run a lot of seeds to get something worth keeping. They are sort of dinosaurs in business at this point. Haven't had anything new in many many years and you run the possibility of old stock seeds. Just saw a video in which their owner admits that they are "very slow in developing new strains" and that they will develop new ones soon which will be autoflowers of a couple of their 20 year old strains. Yuck...I would point you more towards newer, more cutting edge breeders such as Bodhi, Gage Green, Sin City, Rare Dankness, etc. that will be much danker and at a much smaller cost. I've run 3 Sensi strains (NL5xHaze, Jack Flash, and Northern Lights) and found them solid/mediocre at best and that was 4-5 years ago.
