I forget the exact age of these, small problems with room being too cold so im hoping these will grow up and spread out more now ive cranked the heat up. Sensi Skunk, give myself 7 out of 10 for skill, tap water, shop soil (nothing special just general multipurpose compost - westlands john innes if your a Uk grower). One small dose of biobizz fish because its awesome, t5's from arcadia aquatics. Seriously hoping this leap is the leap home. Probably repot in a week then shift to flower shortly after. Fucking screwed up my last batch due to cold flowering tent at night, 12°c really slows evertything to a halt damn this British weather.

Anyway just random thread, hope you enjoy :-)

I keep about 8" from t5's, 4 x 24watts, toying with puttings fans on low again but these have only had 50cfm extractor in a 60 x 60 x 140cm tent no other air flow.

Soil from germination to now is what i woukd term a full strength soil. See how they take now my room is about 20°c, might need some more airflow might be ok.

Repotted once from slightly smaller pots in same soil. Could go closer to lights possibly handle another mild fert, time will tell with the finer details.

Water has 3ppm chloramine, soft water here so 50ppm maybe, too low for reading on my meter so below 0.1ec or arounds that.

If they come along nicely ill do another set of photos in a week maybe. Got another three 2/3 days of germinating. Still dialing in but getting closer, amazing how you fix one thing and totally overlook somthing else.

Tried to detail most things for those that want, mainly this time my focus has been on day and night temps in my room, dont use any meters in the tent just try and read them and air temp and humidity should be not much different to what my room is around 20°c. Humidity is irrelevant to me, dosent matter what that is as no effect on growth :-)

Is this your first time growing sensi skunk?

I've wondered if it was any good. Also wondering about other skunks from other breeders like skunk #1. I've read they are nothing like the real road kill I grew up smoking. Ice tried a couple but they weren't even close. I gave up.
Growing sk#1for the third time and it has no resemblance to the early 80's skunk bud

It is pretty and frosty but its not what I had hoped either.

Yer grown it a few times, nice plants cheap seeds, prefer superskunk but none of these have ever dissapointed. This is a pheno of skunk#1 if i remember correctly. I wouldnt say they were as intresting as whats on the market but Uk its easy to sell so no reason for me to sway to much into other strains. Cant fault it really :-)

I feel what came off skunk#1 was a lot better thesedays, my tastes are basic and any well grown skunk gets labled as cheese here as all that sells.

Then its definitely not what I want. I love real skunk weed. I hate cheese strains.

The worst one I ever grew was deep cheese by dinafem. Stinky. One little nug would stink the whole house up. Required double carbon filters. Power went out one time and within an hour I could smell it outside with it in a sealed cab without the scrubber running.

I now keep a charged deep cycle battery and inverter to run the carbon filter and fan in case of power outtage because of that strain. Never want to go through that again.

Defo much better strains that this but for ease i like it and these basic indicas treat me well. Growing some of the freebies herbies sends can be a lot more challenging.

I hate cheese too, chemical taste and terrible high but it does get you high, but not a buzz i particularly enjoy :-)

I just had an epiphany.
I remembered that in 1980 something
My uncle drove from oregon to Humboldt and returned with the skunk and two seeds.

He said they were dwarf indica.
That is the part I remembered.
Googled dwarf indica and sure as shit.

There are some autos called dwarf
With some skunk genetics.
Mixed with ruderellis. Cant spell it.

Anyway I wonder if it is any relation to the real skunk.

Never been interested in an auto until now.

The other thing I remember is the first two leafs that appeared from those seeds were the largest I've seen to date.

It kills me that this shit is not readily available. Crazy loss

My strains and yeilds are average but it all works out well.

I think there is a seed company that does dwarfs, if i remember they only do five strains and probably all autos. Herbies were giving away dwarf queen somthings i forget now but i never took them into flower.

Think thats why i stick with the basic plants and just wait for some freebies that impress me. Done a lot of lemon kush or haze but they were more fussy so i stopped there.

One day another good strain will come along but really im just happy i can grow atm, simple things please simple minds i guess :-)

Your seedlings look beautiful by the way. Sorry to gum up your thread.
Nah no worries, any thread i write peeps are free to gum all they like.

Seedlings are a love of mine, when i first started that was what was hard to get right, i dont think they are that great but they are getting better over the years.

Nice shot of your bud, frosty and sticky, damn i cant wait till harvest now :-)

I just recently bothered to keep my seedlings warm enough. Its funny the things I ignored because I could.

I stopped giving a shit fir a while but
Since my kids moved out I have found myself enjoying learning about and working on improving my weed again

Would love to find a skunk spray strain

I think my absolute loudest strain ive had yet is lemon skunk by dna from back in the day
Pure lemon pledge
