Hey RIU !

Some of you may have already seen me around on my thread that promotes DIY and defies the saying "you cant get something from nothing" :bigjoint:

Scroungers Guide to the Stealth Cabinet

Here on my new thread i return to simplicity, more space for my plants ,less maintainence for me. Other focuses include high stealth and of course sheer quality, hopefully some quantity and now we will experiment possibly with a scrog aswell :D

The Strain:

Short Stuff Russian rocket Fuel cannabis seeds
Seeds per pack : 10
Type : Auto flowering indica/sativa hybrid
Height : 11 – 18 inches
Harvest : 8-10 weeks from seed
Yield : 18 – 32g per plant
Indoors/Outdoors
Effect : euphoric high
Potency : 9/10

Our russian rocket fuel strain is the result of crossing a heavy indica strain with very dense resinous buds with automatic NYC diesel which adds an exotic high and deeply fruity smell to the mix. This strain gives off a wonderful fuel-like aroma and really packs a punch

Some Pictures :

The Environment (Aka Me):

We have now upgraded from stealth cabinet to stealth closet, so much more room but my circumstances are differentnow and my grow area can now become more permanent :bigjoint:

Pictures WILL be up tomorrow :D

250w Sunmaster Multispectrum HID (33000 Lumens)
BioCanna Vega and Flores (for that yummy organic bud)
BioBizz Light Mix Soil
Also Extractor fans and other fans and thermometers and all that other crap.

The General idea of this grow is to see if i can attain speed and potency, i am still in doubt with autoflowers as to whether you lose quality and taste with the speed at which they can be grown. I am also fine tuning my techniques for a slightly higher budget grow i have planned for next year. Either way it will answer a lot of my autoflower questions and it will be another learning curve, i just thought everyone else would like to see the fun so welcome to my sneaky 2 month long grow :D

More pics to follow, nevertheless we will have sprouts by friday :weed:

I would start em on veg nutes, though I have never grown an AF, and then switch to bloom food a week after it starts flowering

I enjoyed your scroungers guide, as well as your humor - I expect more of this !!! LOL Stan, I also scrounged for my first grow. Including an according door (had to have in the case of my grow area) I spent about 60 USD. The door I found at a hardwarestore - discontiued floor model and I had A TON OF mods to make it work, but it is solid 30USD. Three fixtures from Walmart ~9 usd. Nutes/soil/perlite and my shitty Co2 method (baking soda and vinegar - waste of money) + sulphur round out the total bill. Going to go with yeast, sugar and water this next time for Co2

Riddle - I "heard" about rain from our Sensi - I'm going to go get super high and read tonight (https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/316301-calling-all-noob-growers.html) - the whole f'ing thread. I can't wait.

I'm WAY into flower so I'm doubting I can use this technique, but I did just start germing my next set of bitches (hopefully girls) so I'm going to try it.

First order of business : Woohoo 420 Posts, just thought i'd mention it and i know i'm ruining it now :(

Second, this blue cheese is amazing i really did well. this is my special reserve that has been curing the longest :D

And third Pictures :D

Simple, honest but with more space . just plain white walls, took me about 30min to bang together the shelf out of my favorite kinda wood, scrap wood. i have a feeling these plants will be very happy. as usual there will be air circulation fans and the 100cfm bathroom extractor special sucking out the old air :D

I'm here!!

:joint:
Hooray Gamber joins the fun :bigjoint:

My Russian Rocket Fuel arrived while i was at work. the seed company decided to send it recorded delivery which really F***ed me off because i wasnt home i now have to go retrieve my seeds from the post office before work tomorrow and get them moist quick time as i have a schedule to keep :weed:

This grow must be done before early october, thats why i chose autoflowers. My ventilation requires the window open at all times with hot air being vented out but i'm NOT doing that shit when its 5 degrees outside lol :D

So Sprouts by Friday turned out to be wrong, but im hoping if theyre wet tomorrow i can have babies by sunday. i have a good germination method :leaf:

Much Love,

Right so, my seeds arrived thismorning. I'm pleased i got 2 Snowryders for free also :D.

I use the paper towel method to germinate my seeds, a few layers on the bottom of a plate, ad water and seeds more layers on top + more water . I thenput them in a plastic ziploc bag half open and put them in the boiler cupboard which is always a bit warmer than average.

Last time i used this method it took 24 hours for me to see sprouts :D

I have started 3 Russian Rocket Fuels and 1 x Snowryder .

Now things start getting interesting again :bigjoint: - thanks for joining the fun Sicc! :D

Ok, may have sounded a bit cocky before but for the second time running my method has popped seeds within a day so maybe worth writing down :D

i have 3 stubby little root tails popping from the 3 Russian Rockets and the Snowryder has just cracked so i'm going to leave them where they are until tonight and then plant them once i have the grow cupboard properly set up :bigjoint:

It's all happening again and its exciting as ever , i'm just less paranoid and pretty much know what i'm doing now its great :bigjoint: Because i'm trying get these plants finished before the cold hits i can now say they will be done between saturday 02/10/2010 and saturday 16/10/2010. I'm gonna make it !

Thanks for reading :joint:

Great job! Your germination method seems fool proof...any idea of the exact temperature and humidity of your boiler cupboard?
