Setting up dtw coco 2.5x5 tent

Thats right! Of course.. I bought few of them to make my own manifold/riser. Been a while but ready to roll. When I realized the adapter I was like ok makes sense again.

Hoping just like the diy I made that all these are at the same stores. Idk about the barbed to thread part but ya.

So I will do two separate 8 port manifold/riser on separate timers as one will feed 4” pots and the other 4 one gallons.

I might add another 8 port to the pump that feeds 4 one gallon making 8 plants fed the same. Hitch in my plan its gonna take 3 months on average to make a ready clone to flower.

Unless they explode with growth in the next 2 months I need to get 4 clones ready sooner which can hang along the wall of 3x3. Make a shelf and tray to drip into the flood tray. 2ft long.

This is where I could air layer as suggested but trying keep things simple and do able for now and cloning just became a sure thing I can do.

I have hard time visualizing the perpetual flow, maybe I can just ask whats the soonest you got a clone into the next growing phase.

Maybe if these grow large enough in next two months that means all I got to do is have the clones potted right when I swap them to flower tent.

Hoping if I clone a month early I dont need another four plants and if anything just hand water them if they root early.

Then they have 2 months to grow 2 plants 1.5’x1.5’ canopy short wide. Then two plants for 2x4 tent only need be 1’x1’. Sounds do able right?

Holy cow I actually should already be making the next clones! I am slacking heavily. If that is the case so I was wrong to plan 2 months. Back tracking to these mothers they took 3 months to get to a flippable size to my needs.

Shoot I just wasted a lot of time. edit I am trippin never mind, I have one month before I need to cut more because they flower duh nevermind Im good.

I was planning stuff ok I just am trippin. Part of why I want to spend the money while I can sooner to just have it running and set and forget.

I will jolt down stairs to make sure I plugged the cloner back in type stuff just a little over whelmed. Shoot that scared me for a second. Im hella glad I realized this in time though.

Cycling plants through stages is always challenging. I have 2 flower tents for that reason. The time it takes to flower is way too long to root clones and veg, they get too big before you can flower them. If you have 2 flower tents that's way less of a problem.

About to mess around see if I can get enough stuff to make a worthy order, and now seeing, whats the difference of open flow and multi flow bubbler? One has those things you can insert to weaken the flow to a specific port, is that all?

Look at the kits and bundles on their website before you fill your cart. It's way, way cheaper that way even if you get parts you don't need.

I think those inserts moderate the flow to all the ports. I don't use them. Open flow is the way.

Its actually not charging me shipping or making my buy 50$ worth of stuff. I got 2 bubblers L open flow and tubing which Il need anyway also because the ones I got dont fit tight in the clips. Works but could be better.

So now just got to order it and commit. Hope its worth the extra effort it would be two ways I know of making a drip system. Hopefully a better way.

Do they need a full 800gph to run a 8 port or does it save pressure allowing for more manifolds?

Also, consider buying a bundle that's way more than you need. Savings down the road as you expand.

I'm a fan. They have a few wrinkles but for the most part their gear is well designed, functional and is pretty inexpensive and fits most of my needs.

Like I said they currently are allowing me to place an order for just what I need.

I would get bundles but I have only space for what i need, for example the extra pots are already taking up needed space.

I have like $400 worth of stuff to get rid of for cheap I literally wont ever use them.

Your best bet is to engage more with them. I'm glad they're willing to work with you on building your system.

I wasnt reaching out to them on this I think its because its mvrp price or whatever the abbriviation. It says discount 20% 43$ so idk if it relates to what you buy and if discount applies but its not charging me shipping either.

Im right at the part you place order so I think its just 43$. Il try asking them I was just curious if they flow that well that a stronger pump can handle 16 ports.

Idk if its a special time to order or something, idk.

I have one 1150gph pump running to 4 manifolds. Floods 16 two gallon pots to runoff in under 30 seconds.

That pretty much answers my question, that must have some incredible flow to do 16 plants with that pump. Il go for it, all my questions have been answered and should be able to get help from yall if I still cant get it set up.

I appreciate the help and the offer, that was very nice!

Oh one question still not answered , what can over watering do to a dtw coco plant? Just curious. Meaning large runoff not more frequently. What about if watered too frequently?
