setting up first grow room

hi there first post on this forum so any advice would be much appreciated.

im looking at setting up my fist grow room in a large cupboard i have in one of my bedrooms at home.

the space is 1.5 meters wide and 1.5 meters deep and about 8 foot high.

it used to have a tumble dryer in it so there is a hole to the ouside where the dryer used to vent which i wanted to fit a filter and extractor to for the grow.painted all the walls matt white and have cleaned the space with disinfectants.planning on using soil for the grow.already have the perfect fan to circulate air.

want to grow as much as i can in the space avaliable but want some potant buds.

i realy need some help with what nutriants to get and also some advice on smell filtering,smell inside the house is no problem as it always stinks of green in here as im a daily smoker but as im wanting to vent outside dont want smell getting out, im one up with no one above me so dont know if this will be much of a problem.

also with the space avalible what is the max number of plants i want to go for and will i need more than one light?

kinda hoping to get this all running for next friday so any help would be great will update when running.

The light bulb looks just fine for 10 plants just make sure you keep the light spreaded, you might want to look into using a SCROG method if not at least a SOG.

You can always add a few cfls around the corners where there is less light.

As far as the smell goes, you might want to buy/make yourself a carbon filter, since its only a small room a little 1 will do.

magic 10 plants was what i was hoping for.

make a carbon filter you say, need to google that one see if i can find a guide.

any tips on nutriants?

alright mang...well that would be about 4 feet roughly a little more
you can fit 9 plants in there comfortably.3 rows of 3.
as for the ballast and bulb they are 240 volt and assuming both are in euros and are 240 volts and the uk ebay and the meter measurment im assuming your not in the usa.lol
well the ballast and bulb look good as long as the ballast is digital if its not get a digital the little extra money spent will be well worth it.but the hood ive heard bad things about. with hoods that are open on sides like that they say that the light can instead of reflecting down on the plants can go straight out and never reach your plants. i would look into something like this

dont make a carbon filter buy one. if oyu are worried about smell and are venting outside this is something you do not want to go cheap on and it not work the best.they are on ebay for cheap i would get a 6 inch round 12 inch long one.that should be more than adequate. remember the money spent on it will keep you from getting caught its worth it man.
as for the sog or scrog this is not necessary i do not believe. you can let oyur plants grow regulary as it is 8 feet high and those are generally used for people with height issues which you will not have and oyu have plenty enough room on the sides also.
nutrients...use advanced nutrients if oyu want the best. they are the only nutrient place that provides the best results by near 40% and claim they make it for marijuana.but you also pay for the excellence....
as with greenhouse seed co. great pick they are my choice as well.

well thats all i have to say.most importantly look at new hoods and buy a carbon filter!!!
