Please Help! ........ I have 7 seedlings (week 2 veg) in 7 x 5 litre hempy buckets in a 3ft high x 3ft wide x 2 foot deep tent in the loft! I am vegitating with a 125 cfl, but I plan to flower in this room with 2 x 200 cfl and move the 125cfl into another smaller space to raise mothers or clones (Not sure yet) My dilemma is that I need to sex them to find out which are females, but if I flower them for 2 weeks, can I then take cuttings and put them straight back into veg? ...... or should
I flower them select females and put back into vegetative? Sorry if I sound nieve, but I just can't find this info anywhere, any help would be most apprediated! :-) ......

two ways are used 1. cut them before flowering and label which plants they come from. toss the ones from males. 2. cut them as soon as they show sex and the clones will revert to veg, but will take a week or two longer to grow.

from then on you can pull clones from known females before you flower.

you can put your plants into flower to see which are female or which one you want for a mom. then put her back into veg and it will reveg. then take cuttings. it is possible to take clones from a flowering plant. just reveg them but they have more chance of dying.

Just veg 'em till you see preflowers. They'll prolly show before your clones root anyway. 12/12 won't accelerate things either. Just be patient for another week or two. The latest I ever saw a preflower was like the 11th node.
