Sexing your ganja

I have two plants that r both 12 inches or taller and I can't tell what the sex is I will post pics where the balls or pistils should b growing

I have two plants that r both 12 inch or more under 2 regular 23watt flourscent light bulbs. And I have 2 13 inch flourscent night lights and 1 24 inch 26watt cfl in there. They're in my closet and the light schedule is 18 on 6 off. I can't tell the sex of the plant but both plants r healthy and one I had on my window sill that one is not as nice as the one that I started growing in my closet but there both in there now. They have leaves growing from between the branches I think it's called the nodes? But they aren't showing any signs. One kinda looks like it has a little tiny ball I'm not sure. There aren't any branches growing between the nodes tho..
1.Do you think it's enough light?
2.why can't I tell the sex at all?
3.when should I start to flower?

Personally i'd say get your lights closer or add some more, them some stretchy plants and as for sexing, you'll be able to tell when you spot them, they usually develop in the top 3 or 4 nodes at the main trunk first (based on a plant with 10 nodes) plant maturity will depend on a lot of factors but once they start growing alternating nodes they are adult plants and should show sex even if not under flowering conditions, preflowers or pollen sacks will pop up everywhere, they both look like tiny green balls in the early stages so it's almost impossible to tell but look closely and if you see the tip split or develop a hair your in business. One thing to note is female plants are generally shorter and stockier like an indica in comparison with male plants so hopefully your stretch is from lighting! Good luck

Yeah, generally they are but I just pulled a short, stocky, bushy, male ;( It was kinda strange germed 6 seeds four sprouted so I got 3 females and one male, which is right around the common 80% female ratio. There is one pic that resembles a male but the pics are alittle blurry so it's hard to tell. Just take a few more shots of the top few nodes and we should be able to help you out.

I'm pretty sure you can only tell the sex once you start flowering (12/12)? I would def look into getting a better light set up, I did CFLs my first couple times and they turned out well. CFLs are cheap and easy but you need a ton to get enough light and the buds you get off your plant are always airy and "weird" looking  Personally I'd look into a 150 watt light other than that everything looks good dude! Good luck! :bigjoint:
