So not sure what to do now second run Nirvana NLights first run was smooth no yellowing a little purplish at end due to low temp just the big fans. Followed up by second run , floor temps though raised off ground suspended , got low , ssoil was down to 54f lockout started , adjusted rooms air flow that problem fixed. But plant continues to diminish.
Its 7 weeks in and im wondering should I chop , trim , leave be or BURN! lol

I had the exact (plants looked just like yours) same thing happen to my plants with a batch of ocean forest during my last run and a few other members have been having similar issues with the stuff too -- I would bet that's the problem. I don't know what they're doing with that soil but I won't be using it again any time soon. I knew I wasn't over feeding or under feeding -- I was checking the soil with a loupe for critters....nothing made sense until I saw another bewildered member post pics that looked just like yours (and mine) and he was using ocean forest. I've seen a few others since then as well. Strange, for sure.

Flushem, and better luck next round. is it root bound? Doesnt really matter, your 2 weeks out so resin production is what she is gonna focus on IMO. That curl though..

Yeah just flushed first time ever before posting , well see what she does , thinking about major defol for first time. The Crispies!

Edit: Defoliation because I dont think much photosynthesis is going on , or is the plant comsuming the leaves that my big debate in my head atm.

Just snip the MAJOR water leafs in half, or trimming the fingers back a little. I also heard this from a guy who does this all the time for increased resin production, cant hurt to try?

Missed the post but I some what agree and disagree Ive used it without problems but depending on how long you veg and or strain , going into flower to early creates a mild N Tox but havent had bugs or any other issue with it. My issue was lockout due to low temps at soil level 54f in 2 g pot 4 inches down. Complete lockout , which I combated by adding small 80mm pc fan and cfl as a side lighting.

But the buds are growing the trichs are spreading I'm just debating on taking it out so another canopy can take its place or let it go and or remove dying leaves.

Smells good , pulled it out , it does have extreme roots system going on but no root bound in my eyes.

No it can't at this point it doesn't hurt to trial and error , I've and a basic good bad and the ugly kind start to my growing experience so all is welcome , My drug of choice is information of everything.

You can try and let them finish out even though they are failing like that. You're kinda close enough. Just trim the rot part of the leaves off, try and give the plant an opportunity to savor them. IF you see any buds start to brown up at all then chop them immediately. I noticed small tiny buds go first on mine but it could start on big ones too.

I had a totally different problem but I was able to keep my plants kicking till the end. I bleached mine on accident. The leaves became photophobic. If I turned the HID on the leaves started to decay even more. So i just ran a few cfls till the end which the plants were strangely able to survive on and even grow bud a little.

I use ocean all the time, indoors and out and have never had this happen to any of my plants before. I definitely don't think its the ocean. A lot of other factors can contribute to this.

Ya, my experience was very strange....I've used ocean forest at least a dozen times and never had a problem....The last run though, things just started disintegrating around week 3 in flower. And then come to find out some other experienced members were having the same issues. All around the same time too which makes me think there are some questionable batches floating around. ....Idk.....good luck w/your grow though man!! I'm sure you'll harvest some good smoke either way.

It probably boils down(if it where the batch) to shipping and storage. If you look on the bags you can see when it was packaged usually, I dont like buying last years product that joe blow decided to store away all winter.

You could be right there -- that hadn't even occurred to me. Very good point.

Let me chime in as well, I will say that in my past two runs ffof has fucked things up bad. It didn't look as bad as your but it was not a pretty site, and I'm always spot on with pH and ppm.

Yeah its not the Oforest and to clarify its the store was out off ffof so I picked up natures care at walmart and mixed 50/50 and added more Perlite to make up for the natures care(barky compost , dark in color).

I had some flow problems to lower area /pots and I noticed upon watering time that top layer looked wet started feeling around and notice how cold it was probe it at 54f 4 inches down. Creating full lock out then when it recovered after giving it room temp water and major dry out.

Just to clarify to I don't have or had any problems with ocean forest think its good stuff.

Think I read somewhere the hand mix the soil so the don't get gaps/pockets of more concentrated fleets.

I dunno, I've been reading across other forums that there seems to be quality control issues with ffof. pH problems and deficiencies with experienced growers. Another issue I forgot to mentions is that of bugs, I've never had any as I keep my area clean and make sure nothing is introduced into the area.

I also bought my bags from different stores and the end results were the same.

I'd also like to add that I've had temperatures down into the mid-50's (with highs only in the upper 60's) during several grows and the only problem I had was calyxes not swelling fully -- never had any nutrient lockout.
