Shopping for a new tent, a few questions

Hello everyone,

i have a few bagseed plants veggin and i am considering starting a new lowryder grow. because of this i have decided it may be a good idea to just invest the initial money in a grow tent, which would be portable and ready to go.

anyway, i was looking at this one
600w Grow Light, Fan Kit, 1.2m Tent Set-Up Hydroponics on eBay, also Hydroponics, Plants Seeds Bulbs, Garden Plants, Home Garden (end time 08-Mar-08 18:11:13 GMT)

anyone have any information that i may want to keep in mind involving this tent? also, has anyone heard of those ballasts before? is a compact ballast the same thing as a remote ballast?

Also, do you think that i will need anything to convert the electrical plugs to something that i can use in the states?

OMG!!!! yes!!!! as far as the tent, you've probably made one of the best decision in this process!!!!!!

secret jardin has to be the most advanced grow tent out there. I love the side door action..... as well as lots of ports/vents for my ventilation setup!!!

as far as the ballast....never heard of it!!!!

i had heard of secret jardin before, i didn't realize that they manufactured this tent.

i forgot to mention it also comes with a carrying bag incase you need to break down the tent and put it away at some point!!!

does anyone know if i will have a problem running a Sunmaster 600w hps Euro Grow Light System in the u.s.? will there be a different power outlet or anything of that sort?

Also, i remember hearing paypal can cause some issues when ordering something like this, can anyone give me more information about this?

if you are in the US, why not just buy the shit from US retailers? im pretty sure you could piece together a package!!!!

I just got a sun hut XXL. I did my researc for a good 2 weeks and this tent hands down is the best out there period. The only thing comparable is the hydro-hut which had a recall out for all grow tents for turning plants yellow. The sun-hut is an uprgrade from the original home-box. the price seems like it is really good considering everything that it comes with

600 watt hps, secret jardin tent, carbon scrubber kit, fan and exhaust kit, etc.

plus the fact that it comes with instructions tailored to that shit...i am starting to realize that i am not as good at building shit as i like to think, haha

anyone else have any other advice, or good links to deals like this in the states?

im just not sure how the price will compare between buying a homebox, a 600 watt hps and ballast, sunmaster cooltube and a carbon scrubber/fan with all the exhaust shite

and buying that set from the uk.

edit : does anyone know anything about compact ballasts? i cant find shit about the maxi compact ballast that comes with the tent

Secret Jardin have 2 lines - the "street" version is the cheaper one with less features & thinner fabric compared to the "darkroom" version. To me they look like the best of the tents out there. HTG has some interesting ones too.
