Should I call it a day with this little guy

I don't know if its time to give up and just order some more seeds or if this little fella will ever pull though.

I took these clones just prior to harvesting the mum, I know its not the best time but I was trying to keep the strain alive.

It's been maybe 3 weeks now since cutting
medium started in rockwool and then put into a soiled cup.

It's brothers and sisters all died but this one still is alive however each day it gets a little more yellow. I'm hoping that it's because its investing all its nutrients into roots.

iKnow,
If the cutting had roots out of the rockwool before putting in soil it may survive. It's going to have to reveg which will take some time. Maybe it's just time for a little nutrient feed.

Cheers guys, I did see the roots of the cutting where still white and had made it to the bottom of the rockwool, so fingers crossed she lives. If anyone knows anything I can do to help it out other than just the normal things like temp, light, nutrients etc I'm pretty good with all of those, just if anyone has any tips for recovering clones.

But the best news is i went through my draws and found 3 seeds that I forgot about :) Dinachem Feminised Seeds .. AWWWW YEAH.. At least now I know the strain.

iKnow,
Make sure that the plant understands that reveg is the goal. Meaning veg light cycle (some people go with 24 hour lighting. Make sure the nutrients it gets have plenty of N (grow nutes)
Expect delay in growth and some wonky leaves. Good luck...

It’s not beyond saving. I’ve salvaged way worse.View attachment 4154640give it a shot, you got nothing to loose. Except good bud
See this yellow leaf at the bottom of my plant? I left it there as a reminder of the only leaf she had when I got her.

People have told me that a "19/5" cycle is best, which is an 18/6 cycle, but an hour of light in the middle of the dark cycle added
I have no idea if it actually works any better, I'm lazy and go 24.

Thanks for that info Miyagi...it's been so long since I revegged that I don't even remember what light cycle I used. I think I would do the 24h thing now. Your reveg plant looks great

Revegged plants make great clone mommas too. Naturally short and branchy.

I started of with 24hrs for the first 2 weeks but after the other 2 clones died and they were all looking sad, I switched to the 18-6 off. But Sadly this morning the clone looked even worse and i've put it back in the plastic incubator and after 2 more days it didn't produce any condensation on the windows like plants normally do when they are breathing so I think this poor fella is just on his lasts legs :(
But thanks everyone for the info and advice always appreciated

iKnow,
You put in a valiant effort...may she RIP.

For future use...there seems to be a sweet spot for cloning from flowering plants. That is as close to the three week point as possible. Guys will sometimes do this routinely in preparation for the next run. G'night guys,

You are good. Some strains are slow to root. It takes longer in soil.

They will usually yellow and then take off.

Aloe. Fresh is better. Mix some in water. Coconut water. Organic with nothing added. Either can be used.

Putting it in good soil will help. If the soil has nutrinet value then just let it be. If not then a light feeding will help.

Oh, she's not a re-veg, she's a last survivor
I was given a tray of semi-rooted clones that were destined for death, nothing to be done (rockwool put in soil before roots showed, no acclimation to outdoor conditions, pH issues up the ass, heatstruck). I culled the weakest immediately, but chucked them all, basically. But I tossed them into a shady corner, and some three days after tossing the last, I noticed one of the first culls wasn't dead and had turned her sole remaining leaf to the sunshine....

That's funny. I've either topped or break limbs off by accident guerilla growing and would find them rooted.

One managed to end up about 30 yard away and it stayed small but finished. It was good smoke.

It gets testy when it runs out of reserves before striking roots... Also at some point even if the rooting is good you get fucked if you don't give them enough light.

I have to say I much prefer striking clones in summer. I just stick the ends in a tub full of coco and get near 100%,

Yeah usually I'm all over cloning. I did a bunch of them of off this one plant but I really didn't like the taste of it, so throw those all in the bin thinking id be right to snap some clones off the good plant but well I should of not thrown the first lot out :( But its all good all 3 of my seeds just poped out of the soil this morning :)

Poor girl.

Oh the ups and downs of having seedling babies :(

In the past 2 weeks I've gone from

From loosing the clones - DOWN
Finding the strain - UP
Getting locked out of my bitcoin account so I couldn't buy anymore - DOWN
Finding the original seeds in the cupboard - UP
Sprouting 3 out 3 seeds - UP
Now just on the weekend I had to leave my house and go visit the parents and within 48hrs the poor 1 week old seedlings had dried out they were all laying on the soil pretty much dead :(

I did everything I could to bring them back to life and there is only today a very slight hint of hope that maybe one of them might pull through :)
