My plant is approaching its 7th week flowering. It is an unknown strain. most of the hairs are still white. should I still harvest in the nest 1 to 2 weeks. this is my first grow. I have no pics. is possible it still needs like 3 weeks?

Thanks, Peace!

Listen to me. Go to radio shack and buy a lighted microscope $10.00. Ya can see the color of the trichs so ya know when to harvest. The color will let ya know when its ripe.

Thats why I said 1 or 2 more weeks. The trichs are probably a week or 2 from being ready. I am just confused cuz the hairs are all still so white.
Thanks though.

Yea i hear ya. Some strains the hairs will turn brown when they are getting ripe. Thats why i said to look at the trichs. Good luck with the harvest.:joint:

Ok is this bag seed? If its mexican bagseed your looking at about 10 weeks of flower.

If its some real good bagseed well it could be anywhere from 8-12 weeks.

Id say go atleast 8-9 weeks and harvest when atleast 50% of the hairs start turning...ooottthhherwise your going to loose out on alot of nice healthy bud growth. Thats what all those fresh white pistils are is new bud growth...so dont go choppign when new white hairs and calyxes are still forming.

Some plants are finished even when all hairs are still white. They are really unrealiable to go by. There are other things that you can look at other then trichomes to tell when they are ready, but trichomes is a very accurate way.

Wait until many of the trichomes are amber, and rest cloudy.

You probably have another 2-3 weeks tho
