Should I expect any difference in the leaves once flowering has begun?

Reason for asking, I started flowering. Ever since, the darkest green leaves (largest ones) have been deteriorating. Literally, just falling apart starting at the tips. The newest leaves coming from the middle nodes of the stem are lighter green and they're doing fine. However, the new leaves that grow on the very top are also greener than most. And no matter what happen, the new leaves seem like they HAVE to turn brown on the tips. I've been watching fay by day. It's getting slightly infuriating. I've already flushed, about a week ago. I poured at least three gallons through the 1 gallon pot. I don't understand why this is happening. I don't have mites either. Although, I did 2 weeks about. Killed them immediately with alcohol. And continued to spray for 3 days to be sure I did the job. I know some of you may want pictures. My camera is dead as of right now, I'm charging it. I'll pictures posted soon. But if anyone has experienced a similar situation or has an idea as to what my problem may be based on what I've said, PLEASE help me out during this extremely stressful situation.
