hello!

i took some cuttings from my favorite plant 8 days ago today, i checked today and there are no signs of roots.....

my temps are 75-80F and humidity has always been 80-90%. they are under about 300W of CFL lighting about 2 inches from the top of the 7" dome

usually what i do if the humidity is going below 80% i spray the top of the dome and the bottom of the tray with RO water pretty generously.

when i put the clones in the RW cubes i watered with Water with Technaflora's thrive alive and i have added about 10mL 2 times since i put them in the RW.

i have seen tons of tutorials in the net where people add bloom fertilizer to the clones to help them root, does this work?

does anyone have any suggestions/comments?

thanks in advance!

don't put the light so close. they only need a bit of light. too much light will discourage them from rooting as fast. also, I would use something like clonex cloning solution. its formulated to push roots out the bottom of the cutting. so try it. also roots excelurator really helps too. you can use your bloom nutes. nitrogen retards rooting, so they say, so thats why bloom nutes would be better than say veg nutes. cause they're lower on N.

Also, when i take cuts and am putting them into a dome with cubes I don't touch them for like 4 days. I have the top holes of the lid closed too. then I check for mold. cut any off. then barely crack the top for like three or four more days. then roots usually start to appear. then I give the tops some more open space so the cuttings can start to harden off since they have started to root.
