i can only fit the three big girls in the tent ACE OF SPADES - SKYWALKER OG KUSH - GIRL SCOUT COOKIES
so during lights on i have the CRITICAL KUSH and the MIDNIGHT KUSH un der the veg light (which is 600 watt hps as well) and dark period i stuff them all together


my tent set up has inline fan scrubbing both 600 watt hoods and exhausting and another inline fan for intake
total 1800 watt grow (veg-flower)

To each there own, I do it, some don't. I think there is a time and place for everything, this video is pretty cool though. It is what gave me the idea

Dont take it out on the poor plant that just wants left alone to do its thing.

I will admit the video looks cool, but that is just a complete waste of space to me.

Wouldn't waste my precious time on scrogging a garden, and dealing with the aftermath(been there, done that....what a PAIN IN THE ASS). Just not worth the time or effort when their are easier ways to train and take care of a plant. Lollipopping if for kiddos.... Just use all that undergrowth for edibles, hash...etc. If you have the room no need to do it.

Popcorn buds- I take all of the popcorn from a harvest and place it in a plastic baggie and roll it up real real tight. Then I stick it in one of the jars with the rest of the stuff. After a few weeks I take them out of the baggie and see that they have forged themselves into nice chunks of perfectly usable wares. If one is a "purveyor" of said wares, dropped in with the rest of the buds it weighs just like anything else.

This is true.
I usually just smoke the popcorn buds first though, as they tend to dry first. That gives me a 50% idea of what the finished colas will be like.
This time around I think I'll just try to get some bubble hash going, and if I can't, I'll do the ISO thing.

I can see a scrog working if someone's trying to stay at a certain legal plant limit, but when watching the video I kept finding myself saying "I could have 4-5 five-ounce plants in the space of that one plant".

In my opinion the downside of a sog/scrog is that you can't move your plant(s) around once your committed to this type of growing. I'm constantly moving stuff around in my flower room as I have a perpetual grow bringing in new plants and taking other's out for harvest.

How is SOG anything like SCROG?

SOG = the most efficient way to grow pot indoors. Lots of little lollipops with short to no veg time.

SCROG = waste of time and electricity in 24/0 vegging while you fill out a screen. This is weeks of time in 24/0 that could have been spent flowering in 12/12.

The problem with SOG is the legal plant limits, and stubborn old farts who only grow outside. You can definitely move your SOG plants around as SOG plants are small.

I think it looks fine. People are being way too dramatic acting like you just ruined your yield when it probably won't make much of a difference either way.

I don't see spots where light is getting through the canopy, so what's wrong? I see a very lush green canopy.

I added t5 side lighting this run and my lower buds are nice chunky nuggets. Surprised the guys that scrog don't run lighting under the screen to the fan leaves

The way he did his scrog in the video, he didn't need to.
Every branch he ran through the screen was a cola, and anything else he chopped.
