Basically, they're growing fairly strong, but wide. 400w HPS about a foot away from tallest plant.

Pictures attached below.

Thank you & REP to anyone who helps the cause.

Cheers.kiss-ass

I agree that any trimming should probably be done 1 week before flowering. They look most beautiful indeed and unless you are facing some height restrictions I would let them Boogie-Woogie! Nice Grow - Good Luck!

So, I basically just trim the bad parts off or the whole leaf ? or stem ?

Here's the description of the FEM Snow White seeds, I believe they're mostly Indica:

Female Snow White is one of our highest quality selections from the “white” family. The fat pure indica father gives Snow White a denser statue than its close relative, White Widow. This plant is a big yielder with dense sticky buds covered in shiny trichromes. Well suited for hydro or similar systems. Great smooth taste and a powerful indica stone make this strain a nice Widow variation.

I also have 3 FEM Venus seeds as well, but I think those are the smaller one's, the description of those states:

One of our new production skunks, this feminized selection starts slowly then comes on strong with more rapid growth creating big buds. Venus has nice large leaves and a curious aroma. Venus is a new generation Ganja with good yields and a strong high.

Thank you & REP comin' to ya'... :bigjoint:

I wouldn't trim anything. Even though they look a bit burned, the rest of the leaf that is not burned is still alive and photosynthesizing food. If anything, I would top them once they get about a foot tall, then start flowering them about a week to 10 days after that.

That's just me though.

Word... I gave you some rep as soon as I saw this... GREAT freakin' information dude.

Question: Some of the yellowing is from accidentally dripping some nutes on them... but the lower one's are burned a bit. The stem looks healthy, good call. So, just clip the top of it ? They are so BUSHY that I don't even know where the top is!! LOL. There's more pics in my grow journal ( link below ).

It's funny, I have 2 large plants, 3 medium and 1 runt. I can't for the life of me figure out why that one plant is a runt. Any ideas ? or is it... 'the luck of the draw'... ??

THANKS !!!

Some plants are just hardier than others. You could just top the big ones and leave the smaller ones to be al natural. To top you just clip off or pinch the new growth at the very top, without touching the new shoots to the side of the new growth. These shoots will turn into TWO now top colas and give the other side shoots time to grow up towards the top canopy and it will really bush out.

if ur leafs are yellow there not doing there job fuk it cut em off..there just taking nutrients from all the other leafs and causing ur plant to grow slower and focus on that dying leaf, so cut it i think it will help

The only time I cut a leaf is when it is completely dead and withered away, which usually happens towards the end of flowering. It is not taking energy away from other leaves. People have different takes on this, but to each his own.

its not taking energy?? wtf would u want it there for?? it is taking energy thats what leafes do and if u have less leafs the more the plant focus's on the remaining leafs..makes sense to me just cant cut to much cuz ur plant needs leafs to grow

The leaves are there to make energy. Its called photosynthesis, and it happens in the fan leaves. Pretty simple stuff.

Unless it is fully dead. No reason to prune it.

i know people that trim the shit outta there plants just the lower part and then the plant focuses on growing the upper part

I pretty much have left them alone aside from cutting a couple of small clones for this dude, and some dead leaves.

Bushier than all hell. Check out grow journal for pics. Just switched to Flower 4 days ago.
