I agree with brimck, repotting an auto will stunt it pretty bad if you don't do it early. By cutting the bottom off the pot and burying it 2-3" down into a second pot you give the roots a lot more room without stressing them nearly as much. The big issue with this is whether height is a problem for you or not.

no point re-potting an auto, with autos you should tend to use same pot start to finish - if you do re-pot your going to cause alot of stress especially as your plant is an Auto, your going to cause alot of issues such as the growth will most likely stunt, to help you further we need to know more.

how tall is she at present?
what strain also if you know would be good?
conditions etc?

i recently transplanted my mi5 auto during flowering and it hasnt effected its growth that much i know people say its a bad thing but if its got to be done do it as quick and as gentle as you can and you should be fine:peace:

My first ever grow was a nirvana auto bubblelicious.. I had it in a 1.3 gallon container.. halfway through flowering it became horrible rootbound and I transplanted it into a 3.5 gallon container... It literally took off after re potting and got ALOT bigger. It may not be wise to do every time.. But.. I repotted an auto flower 5 weeks before it was 100% done and it made my yields alot better. Tomorrow Im actually gonna repot a small auto I have that is about 6 weeks from being completely done.

I've had nothing but good results repotting autos. even during flowering!.

I would have gotten around 17 grams dry in the 1.3 gallon container... after I repotted my auto bubbleliciuos in a 3.5 gallon container when all was said and done I ended up with 29.3 grams dry.

You most def can repot autos.. The trick is no transplant shock.. have your new container ready with soil in the bottom and more soil to cover if needed.. pull old plant and expose roots to light for under 10 seconds and youll be golden.

It worked wonders for me.

P.S.- that auto bubblelicious turned out to be some god damned fantastic weed... alot more potent that most of the stuff I pay 20 a gram for all day long.
