should i tie this plant back?

You're more likely to break the branches trying to tie the plant off IMO. If you are worried about the height going over the fence, you can VERY gently and VERY gradually (the course of a week) bend the branches downward, but if you use too much force, SNAP!.

Keep your twine handy so you can immediately tie it back in place if something snaps.

BEND IT!!!! man, i see tonnes of potential in that plant :D.......puns intended.

if you very slowly bend the branche's down and out (like, an inch~/day...not much) so the middle gets more light, i could see that baby turning into 20-30 full large conas..... :weed:

I agree. It will open the plant up and itmay, i say it may build up the branches a little thicker. Feather them out.

As far as the plant snapping under its own weight, think of it like this. This plant has been around hundreds if not thousands of years, and naturally turns into a LOT of HEAVY buds. If it was prone to simply crushing and breaking itself, it probably wouldn't have survived long due to natural selection.

i would also give her a haircut as well cuz she doesnt need al those extra leaves that could be blocking budsite from the sun. so i would give her a trim.:peace:

I don't particularly agree with that... More leaves=More photosynthesis=More energy overall for the plant. The buds don't absorb sunlight, and the plant doesn't divert its energy to the extra leaves, it just gives it to what's growing the most. During this cycle, the plant is desperately trying to breed/procreate, so it puts most of its energy into the flowers. If you are doing indoor, then you might have more light worries as far as getting light closer to the bud sites, but outdoors the more leaves the better. Think of them as little solar panels. The plant uses its energy as a whole.

yea, id have to say more of a "pube trim" than a hair cut, just chop the bottom fan leaves which don't receive as much light..... then you get the best of both worlds, adequate lighting for photosyntheses and more energy directed toward bud growth.

The only trimming i would do is cut out some of the little shit branches that are on the main large branches. They are not going to produce shit and there energy will be piled on the main colas. I would leave the big fan leaves on until they die. They are the major solar panels for the plant.

Well that seemed to work for me.
