should i Top or Fim my girls???

what is the benefit to both methods and a detailed description of how its done..thanx

I am only on my 2nd grow but have tried both. The first thing I tried was the FIM. I waited till about the 4th node and once a small tip started coming up for new growth I cut the little top in half with some nail clippers (cleaned). Then it took about a week and I started seeing 3 nice new tops starting. On another plant I topped it. I did the Uncle Ben technique and waited until the 6th node and cut all the way down to just above the 2nd node. It split into 4 nice nodes from there. I liked the Uncle Ben topping much better. It gives you the option of using the top that you cut off as a clone. I'm no pro but that is what I have tried. I hope that helps.

you can always clone what you cut! if you do it right! TOPPING i love topping you got the base of your plant growing straight up with branches comeing out of the base the center each time you top you allow two more bases or branches two form so instead of one brance buding you got double branches buding! bud it up my man!
