Should I wait or put them into jars?

The buds have been drying for 3 days in a room where the humidity been quite low around 30-40%, the buds are feeling dry and brittle but not that they break up.
My worries is that the buds are already feeling the way I described but the stems are still bending and feeling wet.

Should I wait or put them into jars?

Can you pop the smallest bud off with your finger? If so you can jar, just watch humidity from what i understand

Put some in a jar with a hygrometer. If it goes over 70 keep dumping it out till it's down around 60

I have to deal with low humidity too and that "hang them untill the stem snaps" just isnt very reliable in my experience. I ruined some good buds doing that when i started growing. If theyre already feeling brittle then id jar them and give them some air twice a day for 20 mins until you think they've dried out enough. I use a humidifier on a timer in my dry room but that can cause mold so you have to keep things in check. I cant stand bud that has dried out too fast for a good cure. It makes for some really shitty weed

When it’s that dry the bud gets crispy on the outside pretty quick.

Once it’s like that if you put it in a tub or jar for a day or two it’ll soften up again
