Shrooms in Yorkshire?

does anybody know where + when shrooms grow in north england?

Get yourself a key or a guide. If you don't know where they are already the chances are you either won't be able to find them or you will make the same mistake most first time magic mushroom foragers make thinking that any mushroom that won't kill you has got to be magic. The news is that there are thousands of mushroom species, few are things you could or would want to eat, Few of the poisonous ones taste good but above all, very few are hallucinogenic. I have been keeping my eye out for magic mushrooms my entire life, I have foraged many times but I have never ever found magic mushrooms without a guide. You are in england? If you don't have a knowlegeable guide, do yourself a big favor, wander around your area with a key, and a notebook, look at all the strange and wonderful fungi in your area and take field notes of what you find, where you found it, what it was growing on and the like - hell, take pictures as well, but if you want to trip on them, grow your own.
