ok my biggest hint is go to youtube and type in magic mushroom hunting. and also you can pic any shrooms and break the stem off lay the cap on a white sheet of paper. let it sit for 30 min to an hour and then look at the print it left on the paper, if it is purple it is of the class psylibin which is what you trip on. the videos on youtube will tell you everything you need to know.....good luck bro.....

not completely true. Many mushies bruise blue or leave blue marks that are also very poisonious. NEVER eat wild mushrooms that havent been identified by a mycologist, thats how people die.

I'm sure you will be able to find a case where someone dies from consuming actual magic mushrooms. But honestly, the death could have resulted from the actions of the person who consumed them since they were tripping balls.
Id say for the most part, if you've actually got yourself some real mushrooms, then you should be fine. Drink orange juice if you cant take it and want it to end faster

Never ever ever ever ever ever pick and eat anything you do not know 110% sure that it is edible/psychoactive. You could easily cause permanent liver damage or even death. Or permanently brain fucked up. Take pictures of the mushrooms, take a spore print and go to www.shroomery.org/forums and go to the Mushroom Hunting and Identification forum, make a nick, read the guidelines at the top of how to post and what to right. If you don't and post a ill-informed post they will warn you and delete your post without question. There are very intelligent people there. Unless you get 3-5 people agreeing on the same thing. DO NOT EAT IT. But take pictures and a spore print. Take some foil, harvest the mushroom by grabbing from the base and twisting. Carry a pocket knife with you and cut right below the cap. Place on foil and wait 12-24 hours.
