MINI UPDATE
11/26/08
Just checked my Trainwrek, the seed cracked 
transplanted it into the AG, i now have my AG hood Hanging over the Seedling. should i put on those lil domes on or will they be cool with out them? and all of the sponges execpt for the Orange OG were wet, has been in the AG for a good 11 hours, should i soak the sponge? i filled to the brim. ima put the pics in the attachment since i dont know how to re size the pics

I would definetly use the little clear domes,they seemed to help the ones that I did cover. Also, that sponge should probably wet if it had sit in there for that long. I planted 4 seeds(very good bagseed) in mine a week ago, and all are close to two inches tall already, except for one thats about and inch tall maybe. (I heard that male plants tend to grow faster than females, anyone know if there is any truth in that?). Anyways, good luck with your grow man. I'll try to get some pics on here of my AG sometime soon.

One more thing, my lights are only like 6 to 8 inches from the tops of my plants. Will this cause them to stretch?

Hey Flops! You might want to take a look at my grow journal (https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/134310-aerogarden-amateur-bagseed-grow-2.html) I've placed 5 CFLs about 1 inch from the top of the canopy, and this has effectively halted the stretching.
