Sick + Dieing and I dont know why

Swimmers friend gave him 2 clones which did not look healthy when swim recieved them, however he was informed they had spider mites which were taken care of.... Swim noticed the plants started to look better, untill recently... the clones plus swims original girls are taking a turn for the worste.

Turning pale yellow, cripsy leaves, rolled + burned tips... they are litterly falling apart. Some leaves are spotted...

Magnesium deficiancy was thought to be the problem but adding mg to the water has not helped.

PLEASE ANY INFORMATION. pics are 2 days old and they look even worse now.

What have you been feeding them? Is the PH balanced? In that 4th pic at the top, where the edges are curled up, I have a little of that on one of mine right now. It's not light/heat stress, 'cause you are using CFL's, so that eliminates that. In my case, i was feeding them nutes that weren't PH balanced, and was way low, about 5.4. So, I'm guessing that you also have a low PH problem, which is making the leaves all twisted, etc....And, they're turning yellow because the PH is causing nutrient lock. I could be wrong, but i would say to make sure the soil PH and the fert PH are correct, before you do anything.

could be lock out from ph if two low or to high and not getting the nutes at all looke kinda like heat stress dont beleave you cant heat stress from cfls i have done it many times tring to get as close as possible start by ph ing soil and then give good flush for few days and see if it improves with good phed water

....I'd say your plants are shot. I never give up on plants myself, just for the learning experience...but, the first 3 pics at the top, those are pretty bad. You should flush, flush, flush with pH balanced water, (6.5) is idea for soil. They look overfertlized. Good luck man.

U have a fungal infection, commonly mistaken for many deficiencies. Toss the really bad plants before they infect the whole crop and wipe u out. Get a fungicide like Serenade or Daconil, and apply as a drench to the healthy plants. Fungus enters thru the stomatas, which are located on the underside of the leaves, so make sure to apply liberally to the undersides of leaves.
The bad plants are living spore factories and are producing countless spores that go airborn and pass from plant to plant.... Healthy plants will probably beat the disease, but stressed ones will likely be infected.
It is controlable, but once a plant has it, it has it forever. I have been growing with the shit for almost a year, all my plants have it and one little mistake causes stress to the plants and an outbreak happens a couple days later. If controlled u will only lose a bottom leaf here and there, what u have is an outbreak.

Here are some leaf pics of my confirmed fungal infection.

I prune really bad leaves, and cut bad parts of leafs off, that really slows it down. I also keep my temps a few degrees cooler, humidity under 50%, nitrogen levels as low as possible (fungus feeds mostly off of Nitrogen) and I feed my clones about 100ppm of phosphorus and 50ppm potassium and upgraded the heat mat with a thermostat, I get roots to strike in 5 or 6 days on 95% of the cuts.

Here is the finished product with a fungal infection it wont effect the ield at all unless it eats up enough fan leaves. I pulled some of my best yields with this disease, and it forces me to keep the environment perfect for the plants, so its not all bad (it really is all bad, but Im done getting upset about it cuz I cant get rid of it so Im learning to live with it).

Phelps - what is it about the plants that leads you believe it's fungal? I don't ask because I disagree, just studying the plant issues posted here for my own education.

Pictures from today, hopefully pictures of the progression of the plants deteriorating help will help narrow down the cause... also THEY HAVE NOT been watered since last pictures..

Please anymore help would be awesome.

ASO forgot to add pics in this reply, I just replied again with newer pictures (they are on page 2, i just dont want anyone to miss them)

In the first pic...you could see the mite damage on the background leaves.......so two things.....one, sometimes whatever hurts the bugs hurts the plants.......two, the damage mites cause open the plant up to other fungus, bacteria, disease......

On the other pics where the leaves are curled and brown..........were they touching the soil?? Often the bacteria on the soil will do that to leaves, just as splashing soil on them when watering will............

I go with the removing the bad plants suggestion and removing damaged leaf material on the others..........then I'd flush, flush, flush and nute less(brown tips) for a while...hopefully they'll recover and you'll be alright.
