I'm using a 400W MH and I have A LOT of plants. I did as many as I could. Now with the 400W theres only so much space you can use to get direct light. So I bunched them up really close to each other. When I do this I notice the bottom leaves and branches don't receive any light. I thought this would be okay since the tops are getting light. Then I notice and the bottom leaves turn yellow and fall off. I thought this was due to maturity and its just losing its nitrogen. I might be wrong and it just might not be getting enough light. So you think if I had an extra side light it would help? The leaves on the lower branches are facing down. Anyone use extra lights?
