i have four 26watt cfls at the bottom of my grow... i'm thinking about moving them up to hover more around the sides of the tops... i really just clipped em onto the pots because i couldn't figure out a better way to rig them, at least not faster than my urgent desire to get more light on my buds, which compelled me to just plug them in asap lol

where would you move them?

more light is always better. Side lighting is an excellent idea. You've done a great job...
thanks skh, do you think i should move them up, or should i leave them where they are? the plants are just about 3 ft. tall, and the lights are sort of on the bottom foot.

Just asking... how far away are your overhead lights from the tops of your plants? What wattage are they?

Also, the medium. Sorry, don't mean to come across as rude.:peace::mrgreen:

that's fine- there was no rudeness taken! :peace:

the light is a 400watt mh... i've been keeping it at 10 inches from the tops until yesterday, when i let it creep to about 8 inches... i've maintained that today, as well.

sweet. Although HPS is the best light for flowering, it sounds like you have everything in order.

Are these from seed? Yes, I think so. It appears you have flowered too early. It's hard to tell from the pic', but the plants seem a little undeveloped, but that could also be because of the sativa genes.

It'd be a good idea to tie up the main branches, support them with string. This will put more of the plants efforts into growing bud.

yes, this is from seed... just lower end midgrade bag weed.

about flowering too early, that's something i never thought of. i counted 40 days since the germinated seeds were put into soil before i changed to 12/12, so maybe i could have veg'd a little longer. the one in the front was a root-bound, neglected runt in the back of the pack when i moved it to this final 3.2 gallon pot.

if you look at the first and last few pages of my grow journal, it will probably get you up to speed on any details i left out.

what do you think? thanks for your input!:joint:
