Ok... we all know air is important. I don't have the money ($100) for a nice 4" 190 cfm inline fan. Instead I bought a Home Depot 6" 160 cfm cheap ($2 fan. I can only have a 4" exhaust duct out of the room and no bigger. I bought this thing, hooked up a 8' 4" flex duct to the exhaust, 4" to 6" adapter to the flex duct and then a 25' 6" flex duct. I really can't feel the air flow coming out of the house. I don't have inlet vents yet but when I experienced this the door to the room was open so it should of had plenty of incoming air. Is it because of the reducer? When I run it without the duct work it seems to blow fine and hard enough... What do you think?
Btw, I can't afford the charcoal filter yet either but when I can I'll upgrade the fan to something better but for now I need this to work to cool my room. I don't care about the smell right now.
