The Truth: Marijuana does cause short-term memory impairment but only when you are high. Just like how alcohol impairs your balance when you are drunk but not the rest of your life. Studies show that chronic smoking of marijuana does not produce major changes in general cognitive abilities like intelligence, memory and the ability to learn. Unfortunately there are marijuana users who help perpetuate this myth.
A study in Jamaica of 30 chronic users and 24 non-users investigated cognitive effects of long-term pot use (Bowman & Pihl 1973). The users smoked an average of 20 joints per day for at least 10 years. The testing took place in many environments from homes, huts to public places. The mobile approach ensured that even the most impaired individuals could participate. The study included many tests of reaction time, learning, perception and memory. The investigators determined that chronic marijuana consumption had no effect on cognitive abilities.
A more recent study looked at mental functioning of 1300 cannabis users in Baltimore over 11 years (Lyketsos; Garrett; Liang; Anthony 1999). The study used the Mini-Mental State Examination to examine the participants. There were no significant differences in cognitive decline between heavy users, light users, and nonusers of cannabis. Flammability

The most common hazard associated with acetone is its extreme flammability. It auto-ignites at a temperature of 465 °C (869 °F). At temperatures greater than acetone's flash point of −20 °C (−4 °F), air mixtures of between 2.5% and 12.8% acetone, by volume, may explode or cause a flash fire. Vapors can flow along surfaces to distant ignition sources and flash back. Static discharge may also ignite acetone vapors.[18]

In one study, volunteers exposed to concentrations up to 500 ppm reported no harmful effects. As concentrations approach 1000 ppm, noticeable irritation has occurred and some people have reported headaches, light-headedness and tiredness. Inhalation of concentrations higher than 2000 ppm can cause dizziness, a feeling of drunkenness, drowsiness, nausea and vomiting. Unconsciousness may result if exposure is extremely high (greater than 10000 ppm). Intolerable nose and throat irritation would also occur at these concentrations. Even higher concentrations can cause collapse, coma and death. Tolerance to the effects of acetone can develop. Tolerance means that, with repeated exposures, higher concentrations are required to produce symptoms which had previously been observed at lower concentrations.

The Eclipse Vape is not very expensive at all. The cost was around $85 or so including shipping.
When you get the simpson oil to come out with a golden tint the taste is awesome in the vape.
The oil that is in the vape came out golden because it was made with very well manicured premium buds which were bone dry. There was no sugar shake used in making this batch of oil.

Hey Celaphod you can get the syringes direct from manufacture BD is the company name thats where i personally get them from, hope that helps ya, simpson oil is some dam strong stuff so when you portion it out you dont need much at all a rice size piece maybey i personally put a double rie sized piece in each capsule.

That's my next experiment! I've been searching for a safer and more effective way to extract the essential oils and I wasn't too hot on using acetone or the butane honey oil method due to safety issues but this recipe seems pretty safe. Who cares if there's a little leftover spirits in the final batch....it will make it easier to portion out into doses and it certainly won't harm anybody as opposed to an acetone or iso method.

Has anyone witnessed Rick Simpson Oil (rso) working on someone close to death. Say within 3 to 6 weeks away? Witnessed, not heard of, witnessed.

Dry ice then use the smallest amount of solvent to finish the job

The oil I made yesterday is extremely thick, seems to contain no alcohol at all & is super potent. I've had a nagging back ache for 3 days, I took a toothpick & easily scooped up a glob the size of a pee & an hour and a half later had the first good sleep I've had in days. Woke up this morning & it's still just a dull ache. Now on to those skin cancers.

I have a friend that blows glass. He made up some sweet oil pipes with dobbers. I think I'll try my honey BHO

You should do the dry ice method in the flower room to catch the escaping co2.

SO (Simpson Oil) THC Oil Hash Oil are all nearly the same. the difference is the solvents used and ofcourse final results.

Any Solvent is capable of igniting. ALL OF THEM ARE Flamable. So Precaution and care must be used.


So Far ive used Naptha (this is what Rick Uses). Naptha is also called white gas, or better known as Colemans Camp Fuel... BUT> big but.... YOU MUST USE 100% Pure Naptha! All camp stove fuels now contain an oil mixed it, this DOES NOT Evaporate like the Naptha and Will be left behind. So if you use Naptha, Ensure its 100%.
99% ISO, works well also.
everclear is great, as their is no need to evap the 151.... keep it mixed up and you have Green Dragon Tincture.


Butane and Hexane are very good as these are Non Polar Solvents. most solvents are Polar in nature. Polar solvents will extract plant material as well as the thc, thus the Green Color. Using Butane or any NON Polar Solvent will not take plant material, and your oil will be honey colored.

So if you get Green liquid in your extractios, your solvent is polar and stripping plant matter as well.

you can filter this out using a specific type of activated charcoal, and refine the polar based solvents into a nice golden honey oil. but remember in refining, you increase quality and reduce quantity. If you taking out plant matter, that currently shows no beneficial uses, then your not losing anything but the cloro and non active ingrediants.


I use a large pyrex dish (white) and reduce in that, over an old water mattress heater.


also, its very IMPORTANT to decarb the oil. also called Activating the TCH. to activate the THC, you need to heat from 180 to 220 for 15 to 20 minutes. If you need to activate the CBDs, you need to get to 280ish temps for 2 or 3 minutes max...

This can be dangerous depending on Solvent Flash Points. thus the None Flame methods of rice cookers, ect.....

its not hard, but the key points are to be careful not to cause fire, use well ventilated areas, or go outside. I do it in my shed area with doors open...
Activating the TCH if your not going to Vape or Smoke it... the act of Vapeing or Smoking activates the TCH. But if your eating, using as ointment ect. you need to activate the TCH and or CBDs.

I can't say that I have. However, I do have an update on the cancer patient I have been helping since October 2011.

The cancer patient I spoke of earlier on this thread has recently gone through a CAT scan. There are no tumors present!!! There was a tumor on his chest that was about the size of a baseball. It and the other tumors are completely gone! The only thing remaining is some scar tissue. He and I alike praise God for this wonderful medicine. Cannabis, and awesome plant, a gift given to us all from God. We should all thank Rick Simpson and the sacrifices he made to make the people aware of what God's plant can do. The patient has gained back the 40 pounds he lost. He looks healthier and better than I have ever seen. I am 100% confident and a true believer that the Rick Simpson Oil, when made and used correctly, can cure cancer. Now after 12 years of battling this disease, (Hodgkin's Lymphoma), this patient is cancer free. We can only give our glory to God for this.

I have been recently contacted by another cancer patient. He has stage 4 kidney cancer which is inoperable. He did not say what the doctor's opinion is on life expectancy, but he want's to try the RSO. I am going to treat this patient and have faith that the RSO will rid him of his cancer. I want him to journal his experience to better help the community learn of this awesome gift from God.

Hi Winter Woman, I am a member of a group called blablabla oilshiners (dont want to advertise our actual name here) we are growers in Michigan that donate our trim and popcorn buds to make RSO. Our main Shiner is the one that has actual contact with patients (no, were NOT DOCTORS, I use the word Patient as it best fits) and is the only one that might ACTUALLY WITNESS this this MIRACLE ( thats how it feels friends!). But we all know about it when we ... SAVE ANOTHER... So to answer your question WW.. YES< I know FIRST HAND of a mother of 5 that was sent home to die as Drs had done everything they could for this stage 4 mother of 5....
