Simpsons oil in Canada

Hey good folks of RIU, and in particular anyone in Canada.

My friends mother has cancer and although she has never smoked/consumed cannabis my friend has suggested she try Simpsons oil. I said I can make some and I am more than happy for her to send it to her Mum, but that obviously has it's risks.

Is there anywhere she can get this in Canada without her being put into legal risk in? (compassion centre, or dispencary, not sure exactly what the deal is over there).

Any useful help, suggestions, or tips relating to her picking some up in Canada would be very much appreciated. I will find out exactly the area she is in and update shortly.

Peace,

DST

No, unfortunately I am not in Canada, Quetzal. Her daughter has done some investigating with the Care Centres and I think the ones she has found so far do not have it.....

Thanks Sunni, just holler if you hear of anything.

Thanks, April. I actually thought that when I got the text with her location. I always considered Vancouver to be like a Vansterdam, fairly liberal with cafes you can smoke in (but not buy...?!?)

i'll ask around, but i don't think any of the local disps carry it (solvent concentrates are still a grey area here).

edit: does she have a consumption/possession license already?

Not 100% sure mellokitty, I think she has started this process. And thats what I feared regarding solvent extracts; it still hasn't been decriminilalised here in The Netherlands either.
