Single Seed Centre SCAM

I recently purchased from them and received the package with all the seeds separated and labeled, everything looked perfect. There was also a paper invoice in the package that was not the correct strains but very similar. Also strange that all the seeds on the paper invoice matches quantity’s perfect and just so happen to be strains that the single seed centre carry in their “Platinum Collection” seeds that they advertise on there home page. Here is the copy of the emails where they just basically told me not to pay any attention to the paper invoice. The order numbers matched on both the paper invoice and the seed carrier that had the separated seeds. I also order two strains both had gorilla glue in the cross (Glueberry OG, Royal Gorrila) and it says two line items for gorrila glue with 3 seeds a piece. Why wouldn’t it have just been on one line item with a quantity of 6 seeds? I would never purchase through them ever again, biggest lesson here is to just get your beans in the breader packaging. Lesson learned but just posted this in hopes anyone question how legit they are can see that they are scamming growers.

I've never used the Single Seed Center and never will but one of the images you posted is from them telling you to ignore what's on the invoice. If you want seeds in breeder packaging then why are you buying from the Single Seed Center? Breeders don't package single seeds very often. Basically you don't know what you have at this point. Maybe they messed your seeds up. I don't know. But you got some seeds. Even if they're not what you actually ordered I'm sure they cost very close to the same amount.

It's pretty bold calling "Scammer" with the flimsy evidence you have. New account with only one post just to discredit a seed supplier. I smell a rat.

But isn’t the point of single seed centre and there entire business model to allow growers to purchase small amounts of seeds from well known breeders and not dump a fortune on getting a pack of ten that your not sure you like? I didn’t expect breeder packaging from this, I just expected what I ordered. What would you do if you got two invoices one contradicting the other just ignore it? I guess maybe it’s me but if I’m going to do all the research on strains, breeders, growing traits, etc. I’d like to get what I actually researched not just what ever they send me? Not sure how I’m a rat by just holding a once thought of reputable seed bank to their word. Just want people to think about when they get seeds without breeder packaging to be 100% sure they trust the bank saying it is what it’s suppose to be.

I assume you prefer a US seed bank ...
Haven’t found one yet in the US, used True North recently and had a good experience. Just this time I ordered all in breeder packaging, little bit more of a hassle with shipping costs in original package but gonna be so worth it when you have 6+ months put into an outdoor photoperiod and you know your genetics are what you ordered.

I've ordered from SSC a few times in the past, they used to send a piece of the breeder pack with the seed in its own little bag. I still have mother's from those orders, definitely what I ordered. This last time I ordered, back in January I think, I didn't get the piece of the pack and the seeds were in a multi bubble pack, like you got, but it had a printed label and I didn't get an invoice. When I looked into it I found out they're under new owners for the last couple years, so I just assumed it was new policy. I have 4 going now - 2 girl scout cookie, 1 thc bomb and 1 golden lemon, but they all look exactly the same -color, structure, leaf size and shape. I just took clones, gonna flip em one I see roots and hope they bud out different, they do have slightly different smells. Fingers crossed. I'm gonna be pissed if I got scammed.

I've purchased from this company before without an issue. I received exactly what I ordered and the genetics were better than expected.

Just checked out their site, looks legit. Might have to give it a try next time. Appreciate the help.
They have a thread on here if you search main clone company its not a huge thread

But they are state licensed and have some good breeders and pump out a lot of clones

They will not sell anything bogus just wait for 420 sale if you do order save 20% usually

Even if you had one incident that wasn't 100% what you thought you were getting. From your own words they sent you seeds. Maybe they messed up your order. You still got seeds. You didn't try very hard to rectify any errors. The first thing you did was come on this forum and call them scammers. I don't think they are and I think you're just trying to discredit them. Go away. Stop your nonsense.

And as I already stated I've never and never will buy seeds from this outfit. I just can't stand obvious jack asses trying to discredit a business.

If they were really trying to scam you, don't you think that they would have taken the 10 seconds it would take to make up different codes? Rather than letting you know right away that they were scamming you, because the codes were the same? Not a very good scam... doesn't make much sense.

New account. One post calling a seedbank a scam. Obvious competitor nonsense. This thread should be deleted.

You don’t think 3 different emails all with the same response to just ignore it wasn’t enough effort? Contacting Barney’s farm and Dutch passion to see if they are even in there distribution wasn’t enough? Waiting over a month to even come on a forum and post about it seems like a competitor or a obv jack ass trying to discredit? No I just wanted to let people know that this does happen, and if you don’t get stuff like this out it how would it stop. I think your right though I did get seeds and I’m grateful for that just not the ones I ordered. That’s the point im proving here. I think selling whatever they want and calling it something else is a scam. Don’t know why you think this thread should be deleted, you do care an awful lot about a company that you don’t even use. Kinda weird.

If you look at the pics they did do different codes on the seed carrier (hand written), printed out on the paper invoice. But the kicker is the order # is the exact same on both. Let alone the similarities between what I ordered and what I actually got (mostly all parents of the crosses I actually ordered). I don’t think they are completely scamming everyone I just think this instance they scammed me and I’m just trying to let people know my experience. I think an automated email system would have been more helpful than whoever I got at their help center.

There are plenty of people that have gotten seeds from this outlet that have been satisfied with their purchases. Making a post with "Scam" in the title is over the top. I suggest you change the title. Like I said, I don't use this seed bank but come on, stop calling businesses a scam. What is your end game other than to soil the reputation of a business? You're not fooling anyone. New account just to trash a competitor. Go away...
