Site says I'm 'blocked' when I edit a post.

Posted in the food area, went to edit, clicked advanced options, and WHAMMY, site says I'm blocked and lists my IP address, etc....

What is going on with this site? No likes, constant crashes/downtime, malware, fucked up banner, google redirect not working, blocked from editing posts.....

BB - the site is undergoing renovation which is why the "likes" disappeared recently (they were crashing the site) therefore were disabled..as we are aware with the ACA, running a website seamlessly is not always an exact science..in the meantime take the time-out to do something IRL..please know management is just as anxious to fully restore as you

The fact is that is a load of b.s , and whatever the problem is is should be fixed by now. This site gets a lot of traffic and therefore in all probs earns a lot of money.

How do you feel this site earns a lot of money? The ads.....there really isn't any. The membership fees.....there isn't any.

I think that this site is being hosted by a company called Go-Daddy...the same company I use for my business....and I had the same problem (which isn't good as I'm a computer tech and having my customer's told that my site has malware doesn't look good). What was causing the problem for me, and might be with RIU is that too many bad-guys have used Go-Daddy and Google may have black-listed the domain. I don't envy who ever is in charge of fixing this.

im not trippin on the like button but would like to be able to post my pics im not too sharp with a computer anyhow & this is really testing things im as patient as the next man as ive used other sites for growin in the past but this is the one i call home i hope theyre aware of these new problems & trying to straiten them up as these renovations been going on for awhile & untill today havent effected me the loss of the like button thing but the loss of posting pics is another altogether

And I am fairly sure having a high traffic website is worth a lot of money. You trying to tell me the owners of this site are forgoing the chance to earn the $ that they could be earning, I don't buy it somehow

If they were making money on ads....this site would have them at the top, bottom, sides, and everywhere else. Honestly, it doesn't cost much to have a page like this. The software (template) is $250 and hosting is $10 a month.

turn off your pop up blocker and tell me this site doesn't have ads then, of course this site has ads..

and like skullyar said so well, the admin is very aware of the issues that are going on and are working on solutions.. no one is sitting on their arses doing nothing while people are complaining..
i'm far from a tech person, so i have no clue what it takes to fix the recent bugs, just know that the people behind the scenes are aware and doing all they can to make this free site enjoyable for all of us once again..
spring is coming, maybe it's about time some of us got off the computers for a bit, go outside and enjoy some fresh air for a bit, and allow the powers that be some time to fix the bugs, at least i know i could surely use some nice fresh air..
