Ski doo snowmobile maintenance

Hello to RIU. Wondering if anyone has replaced the rubber grommets on the bottom of the oil injection tank of Formula 500, or similar design. I want to know how to replace, and if it can be done with the tank in the machine?

where the feed line goes thru the tank?

The oil line is attached to a plastic piece below the tank that also has the low oil level sensor on it. The grommets are between that plastic piece and the bottom of the tank to seal in the oil.

Do you have the SL or SLS?

Im going to tackle this after Christmas, so if anyone's got some good info. post.

Thanks slowbus. Got the oil tank out and I'm going to replace ALL the rubber grommets while im in there. The shitty thing is, the trails were beautiful yesterday, now we've got 3" of rain melting it away...

Watch for the guy with the vice grips on the steering post, I'm still laughing over that picture ..... (I won't say how long I used vice grips on my washing machine dial, nope nope, not sayin') LOL

Guess the vicegrips are better than duct tape.
