Nope. They are not hermies. I just flushed 1 time before the flowering. And In the 4th week I flushed. Skunk have short flowering period. 50 days. I will flush them before harvest 2 weeks.

i dont see how it would make it herme but i dont see a point unless u have extra nuts in the soil thats locking the plant up outher than tht you want the nutes ... i dont flush bettween veg and flower

Hy everyone.

Im on my 3rd grow.
my 150W hps seems to be good. Im growin 2 Skunk#1 in 6l pots. Im in the end of 3rd week of flowering. They are 59 and 70cm tall. I defoliated them a litle bit like 1 week ago and today I flushed them. I have some pics. Please take a look and say ur opinion. I have some questions. Like I could a litle bit lst for better light penetration. Like pull the branches with some wood poles? This would stress them ?
?

Hi Moreh,

Long time no hear, those girls look good. You could remove the very lower leaves where no bud sites are growing to focus plant energy on remaining bud sites with foliage, those leaves are getting enough light to be useful just taking energy. I think you are ready to add another pruning technique to your arsenal. I would suggest because of your lighting situation to get more coverage is on your next to plants I want you to set them up for a SOG setup.

Basically you will top the plant in veg early once it has produce a couple of nodes and 8 inches tall, you will top until each plant produce 8 branches and should be under two feet if done properly. After your first top which will form two branches then you will top again once those two branches have created one node, which will form four branches and then your final 3rd topping of those 4 branches will produce the eight needed on each plant.

Once you have both plants with 8 branches each, then weave those branches into your 2x2 square net mesh. This should create multiple branch sites as you weave the branch tops through the mesh allowing side branches to grow up vertically toward the light which now is situated to get best canopy cover, you can remove all the growth under the mesh once you have those branches weaved in enough to produce multiple buds sites on a level plane then flip the lights to 12/12.

Here is a cool video on how to setup up a SOG... can't wait to see what you do with this technique it will increase your yields cause you light will cover more foliage in this method.

Keep up the good work..

Hy Ds

Thank you.
Yes I know this technique. I was thinkin to do this but at least I decided to only FIM them. But I'll deffinietly do a test and try SOG.
My question is that now is to late to lst them for better light. I mean some wood poles for ex...
And u mean I can defoliate again with no problem? They were extremely defoliated for 2 weeks ago.
I'll upload some uograde pics soon. Now we are in the middle of 4th week...they are doing well...but a defoliation would be nice.

Hello Moreh,

No worries on the additional defoliation, your girls leaves look really perky and green. Just go up 10 inches from the bottom, your really not going to get anything worth trimming down there as far as flowers go.

This will help increase mass of flowers on the top and the amount of trichomes.
As far as LST goes, I would only bend and use plant ties or Velcro to separate upper branches to allow more light penetration. Also you could hang some CLFs down 2300k bulbs to ensure flowering light range.

Wait to do SOG on next run to ensure you have time to fill canopy screen with some vertical coming through. Remember when you switch to 12/12 you will still get about 2 weeks growth while girls are transitioning to building flowers.

Other then that, great job can't wait to see your SOG setup on next run it will be ideal for how your lighting is.

Hy everyone. Thx for the nice comments.
I have some upgrade pics. But first I have to say that I was not in town like 6 days and my babies was without feed and when I can came back the soil was completly dry and the stems drop down and a lot of . Now Im watering normally. Today is the 45th day of flowering. They are Sensi Feminised Skunk#1 seeds. On the website they say Flowering this 45-50 days. Im just wondering if Im ready for harvest so I took some shots, and please take a Look. Am I ready ?

Looks awesome, but can't tell if they are done or not..most breeders claim a flowering time usually a week or two faster then what it really takes..don't know how they count their days..if from 12/12 flip or first signs of pistils...can you check the trics ?

so I cut the smaller one. decent harvest with decent buds.(could be bigger) I'll sell my 150w Hps ans Im gonna get a 250w HPs set because I see that in late flowering the 150W is not enough for 2 plants..

Moreh,

See if you can find something like a 400w HPS with your space that should be a good fit.
