Also! I went over to a friends house and they gave me this to use for harvesting. It evidently is from the 60's or something. I will be using it to look at bud and plants alike.

you can get a badass one of those that goes from 60X to 100X I think, its like 9.95, they are so cool to look at your buds through

excellent man, i tell everyone harvesting to get one of those. i swear by hand microscopes.

Well I'm FUCKING pissed. I've had a horrible day and I got home and it was worse..

FUCK! HPS is defective and High Tech Garden Supply is sending me a new one. So my plants got 6 hours of darkness that was supposed to be light and it's back on my MH until Wed/Thu.

Sigh, I know it's not a big deal but when your trying to get shit done..having a defective bulb fucking sucks.

High Tech Garden Supply also has some LEDs that look promising.
Have you ever considered?

Truthfully, no I haven't. I'm not keen to the idea of new technology being played with by a new grower. I should have stuck to a CFL grow..or a T5..but I am more than happy with my MH light bulb, and I'm sure I will be happy when my HPS comes in.

I am considering Ceramic Metal Halide though.

No dude you are doing it right I did a cfl grow as my first one and it kisses a wienee compared to hid's. I still use the cfl for clones but if at all possible I wont grow anything with them again. Which hps did you get from High Tech? I have the 400 with the self enclosed ballast, I made sure it lit but it wont go into use until may. Hope tommorow is better man, peace

Day 32: I took some pictures of the pre-flowering as best I could..1 Confirmed Female 1 unconfirmed female, and 2 no idea.

The two that I have no idea on look exactly the same. Here is a picture of it. I'm scared balls is going to form on that thing.

I'm calling the second one a female. Hope I'm right!

Day 34 - Flowering Day 4: So I believe I have one confirmed male? Can someone tell me the best way to despose of him?



Can someone please tell me the sex of this plant? I have 2 confirmed females now. But I need to know what sex this is. I will be very pissed if I get a 50/50 crop -_-..First image shows the left preflower. 2nd shows the right better. Doesn't the right look a little white? (It's the runt also..so it taking longer to preflower is expected)

Oh I almost forgot! Anyone see the light difference? HPS is in! And they gave me a Agromax one rather than the HTG one that I got. Look at the difference!

Thanks much on the info. I figured I'm going to cut the plant at the stalk and shred it. Seems the best way to have it is to look like any other plant. I'll then bag it and go to the dump.

Yeah, also I'd pull the roots. I know it sounds crazy, but this plant is after all a weed haha.

Oh, and in case you were still wondering,all my plants but one died. They would get an inch high and tehn quit growing, I still don't know why. I am fucking bummed.

You plants are looking good, so keep up the good work.

Update: I made my FLIMSY ASS reflector air cooled today since temperature has been bad lately. I used DUCT TAPE..yes I know its horrid..but there's no other way to keep that glass in there when I move the lights. I will update with pictures later once I find my fucking tape measure so I can give a exact measurement.

>.<, I'm glad to hear that you tricked Nirvana though! I'm sure one thing or another is just hurting the plants, happens time mine too, I just take it out really fast before it does anymore damage (if I know what it is).
