Skywalker OG Kush by Reserva Privada

Hey RIU first real journal here. I'm going with Skywalker OG Kush out of thousand of choices, The reason? I wanted a nice yielding kush strain, semi easy to grow, but with the ability to supercrop & 4 cola method top her inside of a small tent for maxium yield. Below are the specs of my grow and my plans for the grow.

Light: Apollo 400 Watt MH/HPS (Have 2 Available, only 1 inside tent as summer makes cooling limited)
Seeds: Seed Breeder & Strain
Nutrients: Going to use Jacks All Purpose 20-20-20 & Blossom Booster 10-30-20 all the way through, although I also have 3 Part GH & AN Big Bud and Final Flush standby/backup.
Medium: Roots Organic - Organic Coco Fiber
Pot: 3 Gal Smart Pot
Ventilation: I have a 6" Inline Fan + Filter Combo 440 CFM Rated aswell as 2 fans on each side of the tent slowly blowing air in a circle and 1 blowing just below the light very low air on them but all using a speed controller. I took out the filter and started to vent directly from tent to outside window because I didn't think blowing the humidity back into the room was a good idea. I have a 8,000 BTU A/c Blowing 65F air in while all fans/vents open/on and light on full its 75-80F & 30-45% RH in tent during day (Current temps outside are around 75-85F humidity super high) at night I don't know what to do I can't get RH stable no watter what I do with A/c on/off and Exhuast on/off no matter what RH stays above 60.

I'll have pictures up once I have everything set up, currently still sprouting seeds. I plan to supercrop if I can, but my main idea is to cut at 2node to form 4 main colas. As I'll only be having one plant growing this entire time I want maxium yield but most importantly best growth I can. Growing in a small milk jug then transplanting into a 3 gal smart pot to finish. Will flower after a month 1/2 or so. I'll be updating weekly or twice a week during flowering if needed. Welcome to join the fun, give advice, tips, etc if you want. I'm a novice at best, plan on learning a lot.

My old afghan at about week 7 I harvested at week 10 crazy I know it got super dense and fat, now drying. Might have big dried cola pictures next week.

you might want to check out my thread skywalker og from seed im using gh 3 part nutes 3 out of the 6 plants get an big bud & 3 get the nutes without the big bud gotta know for myself if the stuff works im now growing from what i cloned & another batch of clones is in the works for my next grow

subb'd 3 strains i wanna try all rolled in 1

I have this same strain looking good brother mine is five weeks she got really tall though had problem pulling clones they take about two weeks and currently trying it on my aero table but slow growth but clones put into soil go really good. U have yoda leafs like me do u get the three with one curled as well. But this is some good genetics.

ive got to agree with gweddo here the genetics shine through im on my second round of clones & she's stable like a rock out of 4 original plants i have 1 i call pheno #4 that is ever so slightly different it still has the 3 fingered mutated leaves but has more side branching & the buds are rounder on top its easier to get cloning material from & always my first to root i have 2 phenos #1&#3 that are identical & ill grow 1 plant just to keep around the other 6 will be #4 which is stickier & stronger smelling that the rest my pick of the litter

i did alot of reading on this strain although we dont have the original skywalker og the skywalker is the real deal. i also ordered the suppose the real cut of og the story of the 91 grateful dead concert chem dawg obtained the only reason i order it was because in the story i read chem dawg sent a breeder in europe two seeds. but both of these skywalker og and this og were the best know as herowana and both had the three leaf with one curled or three leaf. my skywalker has a fuely smell to it i will post pictures of it. but reserva privida to me is kick ass!!!!!

Only bought one seed like a idiot so really hope I dont fuck up lol if anything got like 20 other strains to go with

Edit: I'll have pictures of my grow setup for this journal and some pictures of some nice nugs I'll be giving to my buddy who loves my stuff for his pain (He was in a car crash because of a drunk driver and now is disabled) He says the stuff I grow works a ton better than the meds the doc gives him, it relieves his pain without giving him chattery lips, cold feeling, or sweats that oxy give him. I should have those pics for you guys later today or morning at latest.

Sounds good Gwed I only grow for myself and friends who have cancer / disablities so I don't really go too much into the strain and stuff but from what I've read and what you told me it does seem to be a very good strain. My plant seems to be a few days behind because I started germination with a 25watt light really dim and shitty just wanted to let it get a inch or two before I put it under a mh light because of the heat.

I got the seeds from attitude if that matters not the site you linked. What is this three leaf or curled you are talking about, like when should I see it? My plant is a week old with only the 2 original starts leafs and 2 new ones popping out about a inch just set it under a mh about 3inches from it at 77F

Now just looking at your plant did you top, supercrop or anything? it looks super big and bushy I wanted to top but I have a small tent and looking at yours I might not have to

I hear ya my friend always strive for excellent genetics but this one u have is a jewel. I've read it's good to supercrop or top it I like u can't afford to top takes to much room. But u can always tie up ur sub branches with string and it help considerable I done that for along time with good success. I didn't notice the change until flowering started. And if u can I would order the link I sent u I know it's hard to trust strangers haha but if they are honest about its origins u will have a real sought after strain.

my skywalker has the same trait with the 3 lbladed leaves. I hear that is an indicator of "OG" genetics. I got a DWC sog going. Subbed up to y'all's grow.

Just a heads up they stretch like crazy when you flip the lights. Topping might be a good idea if you are limited on height.

yup I intend on topping for 4 main colas even though Im using a super small tent and if needed and only if needed I will supercrop a few to make some room but if anything they will be tied from day 1 flowering to induce growth sideways
